Legacy players did start at 0. We've been playing the game for 3 years. We SHOULD have more money than everyone else and should NOT be further penalized for it. We've already had 99% of it taken away.

And wrongly imo. They should've left our gil alone too.

and every person that feels like you do are welcome to go back in time and earn legacy just like we did by paying to play a game you ran from. we supported the company when people that act like they have always been fans had already turned their backs on them.

Not to say I'm complaining as it was my choice to roll on a legacy server but all of the legacy people I've known so far never had all classes to 50 and had some absurd amount of gil moved from 1.0. Prices flux pretty bad on my server given what day of the week it is and such.

The FC I am in has about 70 or so active members and we've maybe gathered 2million together? Plus with housing prices out now the Gil sellers have gotten worse. I get this is a gold sink but there will still be some absurd gil amount in the system as if any players have great somes of gil they are saving for personal housing or effects.

Not saying it is hard to make gil or anything as I've about 800k without trying and just leveling classes and jobs. But I do remember being told that being on a legacy server wouldn't effect me, that the market would even itself out. The market seems about as stable as it was on any other server if you ask me. The difference? Some people could sell old 1.0 event items..

You're confusing Legacy players with Legacy Status. Legacy (1.0) players pay the same amount, Legacy Status (players who paid SE the money so they could have a bit of spare cash to make 2.0, keeping Yoshi in a job) are the only ones who get lower sub fee.

not that it's any of your business, but I have the 1.0 CE (and the ARR CE, not that it matters)
I was in the 1.0 beta so I knew I what I was getting into. I paid a subscription until april/may 2012. I didn't pay a subscription during the last three months because I had other obligations.

there are a LOT of legacy players who ONLY paid the 45 dollar so they could get legacy status, never even bought the freaking game. you have nothing on me so don't even try.

(I am actually not bitter about this at all, I just think people need to get a grip when they honestly think they deserve the legacy status more than everyone else who paid for 1.0)

agree with you. i still feel scam about this. I wasnt rich at all in V1. hardly 5M. When Yoshi says it was for economic reason with new players i always claim it was BS. And time gave me right. After 3 weeks lots of new players got more gils then i used to have my self in V1. And again today, SE think that legacy players are all rich with 15M on each of us. Even if they wouldnt have cut our gils of 90% i wouldnt have 15M today. So most of us have paid for the few who old 50M+ in V1. With out the 90% cut of gils to V1 players i could have understand why the price turn to be that high for housing. But now that we have start with a small difference from new players, i dont understand why we have to paid far more. I will always belive that we got scam, but the whiteknight claim it was fair.

You're stating you either a legacy player and paying less, or not a legacy player and paying the same, or a duck and quacking. Being on a Legacy server doesn't automatically make you a Legacy Player. I'm Legacy Status, I have the icon and everything, so, your entire post is pretty..... odd to say the least.

that's the problem with legacy and legacy status not meaning the same thing. with my first comment I was obviously (at least I thought that would be obvious) talking about legacy status. I AM a 1.0 player. I specifically tried to word both differently for a reason. (every 1.0 player has the icon. at least if they ever played the character or something. I have a legacy character I never played and she doesn't have it - though I think during beta someone mentioned you 'randomly' get it sometime during the main scenario)

ps: you probably should have quoted the whole thing, because 'as you can see by my main' doesn't make much sense if you leave out where I point out that I PLAY ON A LEGACY SERVER

i know some legacy players, 20 or not far... no one have 10M or more...
My friends have their FC, 10-12 activ members +1 legacy with 1M5 gils... will be harder for them to buy the cheapest house on ragnarok than on moogle if they didnt follow the legacy player (our friend!)
So what? because they have a legacy friend they have to farm more more and more than other players?
Even with legacy player's gils... buy a house on legacy server will be after a lot more farm than on other servers. and what to say about people without any legacy player in their FC? those who chosen a legacy server without any aknowledge that housing will be 20M gil or more?
