Legacy servers have more gil? YesIts a gil sink and the legacy servers have much much more gil. There is no discrimination its to balance out the inflation in the markets and remove the rmt gil that's made its way in the economy without causing another uproar by just taking it. Gik sink gil sink gil sink. Other than that legacy still gets a discount and a cool tattoo.
Also stop making petitions you've devalued the entire point of petitions as often as people make them.
Legacy players have more gil just for being legacy? No
sure it did with all the legacy special stuff and legacy restrictions its clear to see that they would of continued to enforce different restriction/rules on legacy servers. Hense me convincing all my friends that played 1.0 to join me on a non legacy server instead of me joining them on the legacy server.
Totally agree with you, every person who is unhappy with the housing prices should quit the game. See you in 3.0, A Realm Re-Reborn.
Yes, on my server it will drop to 20,000,000 gil after 90 days, which is 5 times higher than the current maximum price on the lowest priced server.
Kupo.
this difference in costs of housing is what will hopefully end the discrimination between legacy and new servers. Legacy servers had a TON of gil already in play when 2.0 servers opened, and have generated the same or maybe more gil since 2.0 start than a new server. SE has the numbers and the average amount of gil on Legacy servers is sooo much higher that they will never let you transfer to new servers as it could easily kill the already poor economy of the new servers due to the influx of a large amount of gil (or high price items since they limited gil but not items that you can transfer with).
if your legacy server and in a FC of all new players, then the housing prices must suck bad, but talking to friends who rolled on legacy servers, it was soo much easier to make gil it may be reasonable to have enough for a small house. in a few weeks once all of the rich have purchased the housing and gil is more similar on the servers, prices will be readjusted and potentially allow for server transfers between legacy/new servers because the gil levels of the servers will even out. Yoshi and SE didn't decide to make such differences just for the heck of it, their are reasons. its just like IRL, housing markets are different for the same exact house if it's land it is on is in a different country/state. different servers have different economies and lead to different prices to even things out.
i will not stop, i will make myself be heard, it's not a trouble of gil, like said is a principle.... people must'nt be discriminate with the feature in game... a feature in a server must be the same in another... is not the case with this difference of price!
what i will be next? legacy server will need to farm more material for craft the same item? we will need to kill more monster for complet a quest? seriously....
Player
My only issue with this is that there is a hard minimum of 50%. While i'll agree legacy servers have far more gil, buying these high priced houses will suck all of that out of the system. Then when all of the servers have around an equal amount of gil, our houses will STILL cost 10 times as much as a lower priced one because of the lower cap. There should be no hard minimum and if the purpose of this is to balance the economies of all servers, then make the price truly relative to the economy.
I started 2.0 with like 100k lol & most of my friends I play with got around 200-800k...not even CLOSE to what we need for a decent house.
It will be so fckn hard to save gil right now for housing...you can't even sell stuff cuz no one will buy.
Guess why. They also save gil for housing ~~~~
every legacy player who thinks they are the ones being 'shafted' is free to transfer 2€ to my bank account every once so they can feel just as entitled paying the save price as I do, a non-legacy. herp-a-derp.
