Per day of game time I can make about 4k from cluster farming on my server. Everytime I go to the gold ore patch there are so many miners it looks like they're lining up for black friday sales or something.

If the only thing driving sales is the cost to make money, then eventually margins are driven down to zero. The market is a redistribution of wealth and there has to be people at the bottom for there to be people at the top. If your source of gil is other players you're basically asking them to not do the thing you're trying to do, or to do it but badly and lose money. At this point you are probably way too late to do that, even with gathering.

If you have so little trust in the housing, I hope you never found a real life company. Because "OMG I won't invest my money in this, in case it doesn't work out for eternity+1!" would kinda result in no businesses EVER existing.

FYI this actually happens in situations where the economy mirrors these problems. Inflation drives investment, deflation encourages people to not invest. If you were told that housing prices were going down, would a bank finance your investment? They wouldn't because the security of mortgages are backed mostly by the equity of a home, and this is what triggered mass foreclosures during the GFC.

Real businesses do risk management, and in this situation it's not just a risky investment, the writing is on the damn wall prices will go down.

Don't understand your gibberish. This is a game. I pay monthly like everybody in every server and we are all treated differently coz of some individual have too much gil in different server. Something a certain person say will be affordable and now they come up with an amount that is out of our league. Try getting FC members to fork out more gil on something only the FC leader and some of the high ranks have control of. Giving your gil to someone you know for 2 months. Impossible.

How sure are you those gil are worthless? Personal Housing? Repairs? Buying stuff off AH? Paying for teleports? (Not everybody can save on all these )

I am also 2nd in charge in my FC same as you and I am questioning you like a underling in your FC. You saying I should pass you my gil for the FC housing. So what benefit I will get? Will it grant me immunity to be kicked out of the FC? Will I get my gil back when I leave the FC? Can I have any say in the placement of that bed?

The only thing I spend money on is buying materia off AH. And I stopped doing it in favor of SBing my own stuff. So now I spend nothing. Just doing WP pays for my repairs and teleports, so I don't have to get ANY income for that. And personal housing will be much cheaper.

So yeah, if you make gil, and I mean MAKE GIL, not "well I got 50k left from reaching lv 50" gil, you have no real usage for it except that. Unless your FC sucks, I see no reason not to contribute some.

If you contribute to the Republican party, do they pass laws for you, return you favor contracts for your company, hire you in their own companies later? If they do any of that its corruption. So they likely can't flaunt them doing that. But people still contribute to the party. I wonder why. Maybe they fucking care.
