Hi,

I just recently transferred over from Adamantoise because there didn't seem to be that many people on the server and the free company I was in just had too many people and no one was doing content together as a group of friends and I just spent a lot of my time playing a MMO by myself.

I saw your thread and found some interest because you all seem to be small but active, which is what I prefer at least when I join (I hate being the 500th member that nobody remembers), and I thought I'd maybe post this and see if you wouldn't mind having a fresh transfer Bard in your group and hopefully will have some fun.

Any response or info would be amazing.

Welcome to Gilgamesh. We do indeed have a small group of friendly and helpful people =). I apologize for replying to this post so late, things have just been busy for me as of late, hehe.

This thread covers who we are in a general sense. We are a casual group with a focus on just about everything. We have all jobs at 50, including multiples of each disciple of hand and land; geared to 2-star items for those that need it; and we have already saved up for our FC house, though we continue to take donations at any time.

We are currently trying to set up a 2nd coil group, to run 3-4 times a week, and will be participating in PvP once 2.1 is released.
Oculus has an active Facebook and Forums, and I maintain our Twitter and Tumblr with all things FFXIV related on a daily basis.

We use our Linkshell for primary in game communication, our forums for organizing FC events and general discussions, and Ventrilo for voice communication and raids.

You are welcome to give us a try, by joining our linkshell. If you feel that you get along with everyone and would like to also be part of the Free Company, simply apply on our forums. I'll accept the application and invite you to the FC in game.

We could most certainly use another Bard =).

Oculus is seeking Coil Ready members for each role. 1 back-up Tank, 1 back-up Healer, 1 back-up Bard, and 2 back-up DPS. Each of these 'Back-ups' will form our second Coil group, but can run with the primary group if one or more members can not make it.

We are a small, active, community, already prepared to purchase an FC Home day one. We have multiple Disciples of Land and Hand able to skillfully create two-star items.

Our normal Coil Run time for the primary group is 2200(10:00pm EST). However, no time has been set for the second group; since they can pick their own days/times once each slot is filled.

We use Ventrilo for voice communication.

Greetings Kiksu. Your FC and Linkshell seem great and pretty much exactly what I'm looking for, though that may have changed from the original post. My partner and I are currently leveling new alts on Gilgamesh to check out the server and are looking for a good social group. you know, friendly green text without the obnoxiousness that can result in taking the blind FC invites. I'd be curious to know if you still accept non-coil ready people to your Linkshell as socials. If not, totally cool. I can be found in game as Warrior Princess should you want to talk to me though. ^_^

Hello sir! I'm Facialhair Cachajoni and it seems like your LS corresponds to what me and my gf might be looking for. We've been playing casually and both hit lvl 50 a while ago (Whm and Brd) and we are progressing through the necessary end game grind for better gear. We are both at Titan and realize we might have to try and form/join a group that progresses and learns to get better together to clear this fight. We really don't want to feel carried and we've both had enough of the DF fails with Titan. We would just like to learn alongside other companions to beat this fight ourselves, and also, maybe gain enough trust to attempt harder content. We just really enjoy the idea of actually doing content with people we know a little better, rather than constantly trying to adapt to cross-server strangers. We are also very willing to help people on other content. Looking forward to hearing back if you are interested in having us!

Wish my work schedule wasn't so back and forth so I could dedicate my time to being a static coil member. I've got experience downing 1-4 multiple times on exodus and t5 up to/downing snakes on twintania. I passed on a lot of gear being I'm fully crafted/melded and there were other healers that had more time to dedicate who I felt could use the gear, but I would really like to get some for myself as well to work towards my BiS. I play a scholar main but have experience on my bard to down 1-4 as well. My problem is with my work scheudle unfortunately. I work a week on/week off schedule alternating days to nights. 7 days on/7off, 7nights/7off. So for the week I'm working I don't tend to play much if at all due to working 14 hour shifts. I recently transferred to Gilgamesh last week, and I figure I would put my name out there for the off chance you might need an experienced healer.
