    D hurts casuals, too.

    I am casual, when I play I want to play the content I want because my time is so limited.

    We have people saying they'd run a dungeon 1000 times if they could get an item. But if they are suggested to run it twice without an item, they'll respond "Hell no, the dungeon is boring".

    You don't have to share my opinions, but for the love of god stop tormenting yourselves with content you hate. Either just quit and find something you like, or learn to like the dungeons so you can do it even without loot.

    It is terrifying that we have a vocal minority here who plays the game and demands things, but they actually don't like a single part of the game.

    I'm perfectly fine with ilvl90 content lockout as that's the highest content in the game right now, but ilvl80 content lockout makes absolutely no sense in game that encourages people to level several classes on the same character, having so many lockouts is detrimental on that philosophy.


    Take my case for example, my monk is wearing full ilvl90 gear, I've been playing 3 hours a week for the last 2 months which is probably less than half than people spouting "get a life" or similarities, my BLM is next in line on getting ilvl90 gear, but come 2.1 I want to level WAR because my three 50's are all DDs, so I thought I'd gear my BLM with ilvl90 while I gear my WAR with ilvl80, guess which one is going to be geared faster? BLM.

    Unless there's some horrible RNG with coil drops, BLM is going to get geared WAY faster with ilvl90 gear because there's BCoB, Mythology Tomestones and Primal EX vs. a single ilvl80 piece a week that my WAR will get, this in turns means I won't be playing WAR for a long time (Meaning, T4-T5 and Primals EX) due to it being way undergeared compared to other available tanks.

    Having a larger restriction on obtaining ilvl80 gear compared to ilvl90 makes absolutely no sense, and what's more, it baffles me that YoshiP says "People who are already geared with ilvl90 will do it for gearing their alt classes"... No, people who are already geared in coil gear will gear their alt classes in ilvl90 because it's faster.

    In short, having more access to ilvl90 gear than ilvl80 is retarded.

    No body prevent you from crafting if you like.
    no body force people to XP in FATE then cry because they leveled too fast and fate is boring.
    Armory system is pointless only because people don't want to farm WP with <i70 gear because it will take 1more hour to cap, and they'll have one less hour to cry because they dont have anything to do.

    After playing FFXI for years (a game that prioritized loot lockouts), the system they have in place now makes no sense to me.

    We once had something like loot lockouts for leveling called "Fatigue," it was billed as the next generation of progression for MMOs, and made absolutely no sense whatsoever when actually implemented (it sounded really good on paper...).

    This loot lockout system sounds (and feels) exactly like Fatigue did back in 1.0 but for gear, and what it really boils down to is this:

    Either live with it and try to enjoy the game while realizing that people who start the game late will not be able to enjoy the same content as their friends who started earlier than they did.

    or;

    Complain till they change the system to something that most everyone can agree with (we had to do this for Fatigue as well...).

    I don't have an issue with the Gear Lockout, my problem is that after 1 month of 2.1 there won't be anything to do. Just to point out I could get all i90 in that time (without allagan) and I even started to farm myths late.

    Of course there are people that have a slower progression/ or are new to the game, but they already have "content" they don't need CT to keep them busy. (with 2.1 they have 5 lvl50 Dungeons with i55, i60 and DL gear to get). By making CT a casual dungeon (and i80 gear) you just make it so they can progress faster and have "less" content as suddenly the dungeons become pointless.

    The 1 month delay due to server issues changed how people will do/enjoy content as people are now geared better than SE expected. Also the overall content of this patch is not going to mindblow a lot of people.

    I can support the turn lock out on coil but CT thats a different story. The CT loot lock out should be something different. Maybe for CT a 3 day lock out on entering the dungeon vs a week lock out on loot.
