    It's in Toto-rak that you have to jump to procceed.

    No, I just think it's bad enough as it is with all the interrupt and red line mechanics. We need less of it, not more.

    It sounds like you want every fight to be sword/board tank 'n spank... which (to me), is a -boring- fight. As much as i dislike how much they seemingly depend on AoE, removing interrupts and AoE mechanics would make this game a bore to play.

    My job there is just filling bars and getting out of lasers though. Not as bad as Titan.

    I want more fights like Garuda. I have fun doing all roles there. You don't need to rely on AoE or interrupts to make it a challenge.
    Also, Caduceus was fun. Getting out/in of platforms is easier enough, but something to watch out for.

    Speaking of which - Those who say "you can jump to dodge!" do me a favor: Record a video of you jumping as a platform lights up and see if you avoid spawning anything in this fight Not jumping onto a different platform or moving off of a lighting one (depending on where you're at), I mean hit space bar as it lights up.

    I mean, since you can "jump to dodge" stuff, should be no problem, yea?

    But that's not what people mean when they say they jump out of AoEs with no problem.

    Most AoEs do not check vertical position when deciding whether or not to damage you. The platforms on Caduceus definitely do not, because I've been standing on the very edge of a raised platform (where my feet are kind of floating off the edge) and accidentally spawned a snake on the adjacent glowing platform below me even though I was not actually standing on it.

    Jumping *out* of AoEs works perfectly fine, though. I jump out of almost every plume during Titan and I've never been hit because of it. I've also been in the air as the castbar finishes, and I still don't get hit.

    The server definitely updates your position while in the air, because it simply updates your position 3 times per second regardless of what you're doing. It doesn't care if you're jumping, falling, running, walking, or getting knocked back. I've never read anything from Yoshi stating otherwise, aside from the bit about them not wanting DRGs to be invincible during Jump because then everyone would roll DRG.
