CT loot lockout and the direction of this game will probably cause our FC to quit

I love this game, and I am not a theme-park mmo kinda guy, but you are right as far as too many limitations.

I like the game a lot, and I haven't liked an MMO in a long time, but I do get annoyed at certain things, early on restrictions were okay as in tutorial, but they need to open stuff up more late on, I understand lockout timers, but there needs to be other stuff to do, some sandbox elements wouldn't hurt, Im glad I waited to start playing, Would hate to be burning myself out waiting for lockout timers twiddling thumbs.

Overall though I really do like FF14, they just need to keep developing it as time goes on

I pay monthly for a form of entertainment.
I start to dislike said form of entertainment.

A.) Continue paying for form of entertainment and complain.
B.) Stop paying for form of entertainment and move on.

I personally do option B, as it leaves me very stress free. Just sayin'.

If you can run Coil 1-5 in 90 minutes, more power to you. The majority of the population does not clear 1-5 in a week. Did you expect them to specifically cater to a tiny proportion of the playerbase over that of the main body? Be patient, harder content will come for you too. Just not this patch.

this is what i dont understand .. I dont think they should cater to ANY CERTAIN GROUP OF GAMER ... call me crazy but i think they should release content for EVERY TYPE OF PLAYER ... of course end gamers are pissed and thinking about quitting there is a patch coming out with alot of content ... why wouldnt you take at least ONE of the things you are adding ( i would say extreme primals) and make it some sort of progression content.
Its so easy for casuals right now to yell "quit crying it cant all be about you!" when 100 percent of the patch is for them if 2.2 is 100 percent hardcore end game content im sure there will be posts this is bullshit not everyone is a hardcore player they should have some casual stuff too !

Had this conversation. It had the illusion of content. Sorry, but you're gonna need to wake up and realize that months of grinding before you can even hit a raid boss =/= content.

it prevents %^$&# from spamming a single dungeon for 5-10 hours then coming to the forums sobbing and crying their little eyes out that there is nothing to do.

People do that anyway. It's a Damned if you do/don't think anyways.
Besides, like I said before, this is pretty much a "Fill in the holes" patch.
Seems like it's a patch that already should been here, and then some.
[Since we got dungeons and HM stuff that's before Coil plus CT.]
2.2 should at least keep on going with things ahead.
