Considering you have to rely on two other groups of 8 you may not know, people will likely stick to Speed runs of easier content. Unless tomes get removed from them. And this is assuming Myth comes from Ct anyways.

You have three paths based on just about every screenshot (and the fact that there are three parties).
Path 1 has Loot list A.
Path 2 has Loot list B.
Path 3 has Loot list C.
As far as the visible gear goes (no idea about accessories at this point), that's 10 pieces of gear per chest; Primals already have 9 potential things to drop...

I feel the loot lockout is going to be something that, while statistically minor, will definitely exert a disproportional amount of negative ill will toward the game. For example, studies show that 1/3 of guys hack in Diablo 1, but I'm sure if you asked anyone who actually played Diablo 1, they'd tell you that clearly everyone on BNet hacks. Like hacks, having someone leaving after they got their loot is just a very irriating experience that even if it only happened 1% of the time, you'll still definitely remember it when it happens to you.
Coil drops 50 myth tomes per turn. CT will probably drop 40, which is a lot. Why would someone want to give that up and spend time doing an extra wp/ak run even if it's a speedrun? It's not like CT is going to take a long time.

Depends on the other 16 people and how the instance is done. What if one of the other groups fails and can't clear their boss, and that prevents you from progressing? We don't know, but it is very possible. It's having to rely on people you don't know or that maybe you DO know and would rather not. There's all kinds of things.

Thanks for the update!

So many people not even giving CT a chance.
It will absolutely suck that you can only get 1 piece of loot a week, but I doubt that will take the fun out of it for most people.
Whats the big deal with people leaving anyways? This game's DF system is great in that it replenishes new players very quickly. But I'm sure the amount of myth tomes reward at the end will make it worthwhile to stick around hence eliminating the problem of people leaving early after getting their loots.I feel the loot lockout is going to be something that, while statistically minor, will definitely exert a disproportional amount of negative ill will toward the game. Because Jerks with no FC and friends, don't deserve luck on 1st-run-drops?
Tell me this, what is the incentive to go back to Crystal tower if I got my drop the first day. Yes, I can help FC members, but I'm beholden to 16 other people I don't even know on whether we beat the content.
It's obvious that YoshiP and the team are artificially trying to keep the "balance" between casuals and people who have more time. They dont' want someone who plays 5 hours a day to have multiple gear sets for many classes while casuals can only have 1.
This is so disapointing to me beyond words. As the biggest YoshiP fan, he has failed on this BIG TIME!!!!
It's like Titan HM, most FCs run titan for their members every week, on top of PuGs and DFs. It will still be done, even then. Because people "care".
Some people don't want to level all their jobs at the same rate, some people realize how lacking the end game can be, basically for a person like you to comment in this thread is kind of ridiculous since you haven't experienced the issues that cause their sentimentsWhat if the loot lockout is only for the first several major patches? You know, to test the waters and see how things go? I don't see a problem with it, but I know a lot of you players want to get the gear for your jobs and such. I don't play the game 24/7, so I am taking my time with things as they are. Why spoil the fun? I am REALLY looking forward to seeing all the other Primals being released (Ramuh, Leviathan, and Shiva) in the upcoming patches.
