Packet Loss to NA servers only

Unfortunately, it isn't just TWC that is affected. As stated earlier (and all over this forum and elsewhere) it is more an issue with third party partners in the routing. These are groups like Cogent Communication, TATA Communications, i-Web, and a host of others that are providing extended networking beyond the scope of your ISP's local segments to get them across to different markets. You don't always stay within the boundaries of your ISP's specific networks when cutting across the country, even less so when crossing borders into other countries. So changing your ISP may not resolve the problem if they are using a partner that is also having congestion control issues in their routing.


And I was talking about pinging/tracing to the proper IP address that your game actually uses. That IP is a website server--NOT a gameserver. Ping or run nslookup against these names to see what IP you get:

www.eidos.com
www.hitman.com
www.justcause.com
www.deusex.com

That's just a few examples. There's about 18 sites that point to that IP address, and run on i-web's network segments and NOT Ormuco, which is where SE is running the game servers.
