In a game where endgame fights only revolve around voids we can't afford to have latency problems.

This has been addressed a lot of times, even in 1.0, and it resulted in having half of the servers moved to Canada. This only solved the problem for NA players, while EU players still have latency issues and lag peaks (even 1-2 seconds).

Battleping is 3.99$ monthly.

An included VPN service from SE or a EU datacenter or a price cut for EU players. 3 reasonable options.
Heh, well look. I am only 200 Kilometers from the Server's studios in Canada. And I still suffer lag or heavy spikes.

However could you elaborate more what is the VPN ? Or Battleping as it was mentionned.
