I have two spots that I really like in this game.

Spot #1 - In Old Gridania, on a small patch of land that you can get to (with a little effort!) atop the Apkallu Falls. I like crafting up there when in Gridania.

Spot #2 - Lower La Noscea, The God's Grip, the area where you farm Earth Crystals at level 50 nodes. At the node closest to the sea and furthest from Moraby Drydocks, when it is a clear day you can see a beautiful coral formation extending from the sea. Sometimes I just sit on that rock the node is on and enjoy the view. It's very relaxing.

Floating City of Nym - best view in the game and it's always deserted as no one ever goes that far out of the way.
