    I don't think this'll be done weekly, we're just closing in on a patch and they want to hype it a bit.

    The patch is probably still a month off. They said mid-june at the earliest. When SE says at the earliest, they could reasonably stall it out to nearly fall and people would let them.

    Their word games are all about maximizing how much time they can stall and buy. This patch wasn't coming in mid-june, ever.

    When have they stalled a patch when they stated a release for it? They originally stated the battle adjustments among other things would be patched in spring (back in an early march interview with Zam before the earthquake). The first day of summer is June 21st 2011.

    I have to thank Square-Enix for the amazing job they have done recreating Final Fantasy XIV from Scratch. Especially the inclusion of Missing Genders which we petitioned for in good faith. This was proof to us players that the Developers are truly Sympathetic to our requests and that being honest and vocal can pay off with the amazing characters we have who are Female Roegadyn, Male Miqote, and Female Highlanders.
