if you say that... then what makes odin appear in eorzea aswell?
shiva is an eidolon, and SE said that eidolon dwell in valhalla (odin place)
you get odins mantle for defeating him, and you can trade them for some gear in game
then they just have to make shiva drop something that you can collect it and trade them for some idk... key maybe?
just dont call them whistle lol

But we can see that Odin is a "person" who put on a costume (he has the appearance of the last person who killed him)
So we can just get part of his costume, not becoming Odin or anything so lore-wise, I guess it's ok
He is also FFXIV's Odin, not Odin from another game, the same way the Primal are the entities from XIV

But Shiva-Bike is an entity from a different game that "clashes" with another entity already existing in Game (Primal Shiva)
So I am pretty sure they will not do it

It's like giving us Fang's Bahamut mount when FFXIV's Bahamut is pretty much the strongest being in the game.. it would just kill its impact

Lightning will summons Odin during the Fates, so there will be 2 Odin, why not 2 Shiva ?

Shiva is only the bike form, the 2 entities that form it are Styria and Nix.

It was my understanding (And it could be false) that upon completion of the events, by putting on the costumes you'd automatically be wearing the "hair" or in males case, the cap and hair, to match. No choice in the matter. Put on lightning getup, get lightning hair. Put on snow getup, get snow hair...complete with cap.

Fun fact for those who generally dislike crossovers anyway, isn't Crystal Tower supposed to be a giant crossover from Final Fantasy 3? Pretty sure all the bosses are going to at least be a likeness to the ones from that particular game. That said, I'm interested in this.


....MORE on topic though, I wouldn't think they'd do a SHIVA bike. Could I see a bike? Yeah, for sure. We already have a magitek armor mount. It wouldn't surprise me if we saw more tech-y stuff if they expanded the game's explored areas further into Garlean territory.

though yea, i can see why you wouldn't want a shiva bike mount...however, we are getting a behemoth mount too...

a bike mount does seem far more in the future considering how technology is currently.
but like Varos said....maybe we'd get better tech soon...

or maybe another type of shiva mount or none at all.

It's not like what we already got from Lightning Strikes makes sense. I mean, really, how can you write with a quill on the holographic pages of a book made with boomerangs? Yet arcanists still do that when they summon. I wouldn't see a bike mount that much of a stretch.

On the other side, I'm against THIS one bike, just because I find it vaguely offensive to 'ride' one, nevermind two women (especially if you look at where their body parts are during the bike form). If I can have a bike mount, I'm going to ask for Cloud's Fenrir, or the flying one Balthier and Fran made their entrance in.
