FF13 = Fine, someones said it's good but the fact is it's below the FF standard aka it sucks, sorry about that
FF14 = I wouldn't judge it now since it's an unfinished product. but if I have to... I'd say it sucks

Thats just the base numbers. You also have all the spin-offs, side games, and more. Theres over 50 games, movies, and books dedicated to Final Fantasy. Its more then 14 little titles.

Nice SE is at least trying to become more modern, but as far as I'm concerned FF9 was the last great title in the franchise. Hopefully Wada was right about them getting their sh*t together and trying to go back to the roots.

Actually, for a video game that's pretty decent. :P The maps are great, the models are lower poly.

I saw that techdemo and I say GRIN sucks. I mean all business have some asshole saying "we worked with them and they did this", whether its true or not, some people get the worse end of deal because mega corporations don't have the time to honestly deal with them, its a product of the company and the game markets. Hating brand loyalty lol, I hate anti bandwagon wagoneers lol

Chrono Triggers = Excellent, this game is good even I'm not a fan of Akira Toriyama's artwork but the game is excellent!!
Ergheiz = Abysmal, still want my money back from this game...
Tobal No.1 = FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!! I just want FF7 demo CD... and this game should rest in peace at the bottom of trash can
Tobal 2 = Bad, can anyone tell me why this game has episode 2? but OK, it's better than the first
FF Tactics = Excellent, one of my most fav
Dragon Quest 8 = I'm not a DQ fan so I don't care about it but I threw the DVD away after 20 minutes
The Last Remnant = Excellent, the game is very very good but they've got low score from many reviews, only German people love this game. maybe people these days just too dumb to understand the game mechanics

the last remnant was amazing. honestly if they made that game into an open world MMO it would be 20 times better than ffxiv right from the start. The funny thing is it had more unique areas, better designed mobs, more NMs, more to do, etc, than FFXIV has.

Man, I can't believe some of you are watching this tech video saying "Oh, that's not Final Fantasy", etc. It's a tech demo. It's like saying that a fetus doesn't look like its dad. And anyway, there's some well-known concept art out there from Fortress which definitely makes the game look like it had some good promise.

Exactly, it's just a tech demo. It's not a final product but of course it would be asking too much of our friends on the forum to use their brain for 0.3 seconds to incorporate that fact. Nevermind that the tech demo has 100% more chocobo-riding than FFXIV does 9 months after release. And for those of you thinking this is some kind of scam, please don't be so ignorant. That GRIN was working on Fortress is old news; this is like a year old and it's an undisputed fact. Just because you have never heard of it doesn't all of a sudden make it a conspiracy. It is truly sad to see the lengths some of you will go to defend your sense of pride in your choice of hobby.

Silly, don't you know anything about human nature? People will go to great lengths to defend something they've spent money on, especially when they know it was a bad purchase or a waste of money. They actually did a study on it somewhere I wish I could remember right now that proved this. In fact they also proved that the worse they feel about the purchase, the harder they will try to justify it.
