Hey mack.. When did I ever say I Like final fantasy or play them for the SE logo. I didn't like 7 10 was ok because of the music i played 12 for 3 hoyurs maxed out my characters and Quit. I never played an FF just because it was an FF game I played the ones I like. Anyone can make a ff game and if it has imo a good story Id play it. I'm far from an FF fangirl or an SE fan girl.
Grin no longer exists as a company if you read the thing. So there was no need to even share the topic. But i could care less if they like SE or not

Get to know me before you assume ya do. In reaity I actually dislike final fantasy. I dislike the inconsistancy in lore. I'm more of a zelda fan And will infact play a zelda game for sake of zelda. I did so because I love the lore in the Zelda universe. I mostly enjoy the fight wuth ganon. He is my fav villian. I like his story on why he is evil

SE are one of the most uninspiring dev companies around in the gaming industry at the moment, they produce nice visuals and great CGI/FMV but their games are massively lacking from a game play point of view and lack and sense on innovation anymore.

I can understand for any western developer that it would be a nightmare to work with a large Japanese company like SE (Poor Edios), can't say I'm surprised that they have bad things to say.

I remember seeing this video ages ago and although it doesn't look very FF like it still looks great and it wouldn't be so bad if SE experimented a bit with the look and concept of the series once in a while.

In fact the video reminds me a lot of Demons Souls.

Infact I pickred Gridania becaise of the Zelda esk overtones. Such as getting lost in the woods ended with you becoming a wondering soul. Masks playing a big part in festivals. The use of time and music to calm the woods.

You do realise the game is very early in development, but then I suppose things like that don't come in to it :S
