How the hell are we going to fight Bahamut?

In the next patch Housing instances, there will be underground workshops to for crafters to build boats and airships. You will have to outfit them properly with weapons for the Airship raid on Bahamut in patch 2.3. These weapons are crafted from the HM and EM Primal boss components. Make sure to buy them from Yunie Aura on Behemoth! GL!

P.S. Better befriend a Mechanic in 2.3 for airship/boat parts!

This is a Final Fantasy game. Countless parties in other games in the series have taken down gargantuan beasts/gods that would likely be impossible to beat with just 3/4 people out.

This is FF folks. Like alot of people have said already, in FF universe you more often than not end up fighting gods.

Whenever I think of going mano-a-mano with Bahamut, I can't help but think of the fight against Zhaitan in Guild Wars 2. The one that boiled down to a cutscene "weakening" the boss and four of us manning a cannon and pressing 1 until he died. Well, adds got patched in later, but it was still pitifully easy and very anti-climactic.

Yeah. This is the kind of thing that can happen when writers make their antagonists too powerful. The idea of just smacking it in the face in a climactic encounter falls flat on its face. In my opinion, Bahamut is the same kind of too powerful to just smack in the face. Hopefully, SE can figure out a cool way to deal with him that doesn't rely on Deus Ex Machina NPC technology followed by a completely unintuitive actual fight.

Well, we fought Ultima Weapon by becoming the Mighty Morphing Crystal Rangers. Six crystals empowered eight people, so we can increase the scope. Eight parties of eight, all working together. Battle royale!
