RUMOR: PS3 release/PC fees restored on August the 14th?

Nice find there!, depending on June's update I may not pay. Though when you think about it. Yoshi's post said that list will all be done by the end of Summer, End of August is the end of Summer, so in some sense (just my personal guess) that satisfactory content = everything in Yoshi's post, so the question is: if everything in that list is complete, would you pay for the game?

I personally wouldn't if I didn't have a lot of money free but I am fortunate enough to have a lot of spare cash and can Pay for the game just to keep my account active. But I would not say that list is satisfactory content for me. Though if some other games I have my eye on come out around the same time then I will leave XIV until further content.

I'm gonna call this one... Fake. Everyone knows that FF14 is no where near what it needs to be for people to be satisfied with it. Is it pretty? Sure, but that's really all it has going for it right now. If you look at metacritic nearly every reviewer (Professional and user) rate it as "nice to look at" and having "lots of potential". Potential does not an epic adventure make.

Besides SE knows that if it's worried about money all it has to do is drop a remake of ff7 and there will be Dev funds coming out their rears.

Do you have any idea how much it would cost to remake FF VII? Just as much as it would cost to make FF XV and it would take years and then all the fanboys would bitch it's not as good as the orginal. People really need to drop this topic because it is never going to happen and with good reason. Square arent out to please every fan, they want to make the games they want to make. It is far better they put their time and money into new games rather then remaking a game that would not be as good as people remember it.

Which is why I doubt it'd ever happen.

I do hope they do a HD remake of FF3/5/6 for the PSP though.

Eh, they said they want to have a proper beta test for PS3. They need to announce it pretty damn fast then.

This game won't be ready by August. Majority of work is done, I guess, but they need few more months to polish the game. The release has to be closer to christmas than summer.

I could see the beta testing starting then though...

Then they can offer a free XIV with every XIII-2. It's not like they'd make lot of money from initial sales. That's not how MMO's work.
