I do the same when that happens but usually the healer still heals the idiot, so now the healer has agro and of course i cant let my little buddy dieMaybe most of the tankers encountered this situation before but this is the first time for me. I know I can aggro it back easily but decided not to, same goes to WHM won't heal him. Guess he learned a lesson and only start touching everything after me or else we will stand aside watch him solo everything. And the end of the AK we just dancing together, poking the boss while fighting :-P
Sorry for my broken English.![]()
And i would let you tank them, your a dps class not a tank class, do your job and let the tank do his.
My rule of thumb is if you aren't a tank starting the fight you don't get the heals unless the tank specifically asks for said DPS to start off with something special.
So tanks wanna make the calls but gets pissed when others criticize their performance? /shrug
Since it's ok to let a dps die because they pulled, then it's ok to let a tank die that lost threat on a mob since we're punishing people for under performing right? Ok cool.
If you let people in your group die out of spite, you're a terrible player regardless of what role you have in the group. And don't think it can't come back to bite you in the butt either. If I accidentally pull and you let me die on purpose because of it, you can bet I'll stay there dead until the end of the dungeon OR you apologize and learn how to play.

If its an accidental pull then it happens the ones we are talking about are the ones that constantly run ahead of the tankSince it's ok to let a dps die because they pulled, then it's ok to let a tank die that lost threat on a mob since we're punishing people for under performing right? Ok cool.

Easy guys! He didn't die, we just let him suffer for a bit only. Mobs dies before he does. We didn't scold him or harass him. It is not how we started, it is how we end it. My ending is a happy!
As for myself, I can accept blm sleep mods before me, I'm fine. But that guy is a dragoon T_T
People are always in a rush. I take a second to mark mobs, but that second is too long, so dps aggros everything and the marks become pointless. And if I don't mark, it's the same chaotic mess where a dps is taking hate away cause he's hitting a different mob than me. So all I'm doing in constant flash trying to keep them from dying.
I've also had random dps or even healer run off ahead of me and aggro the mobs. I usually just let people like that do as they please. They want to lead, they can. Just don't get mad at me when I can't get the aggro back and you die.
Some people just don't know how to work as a team. They just want to do their own thing.
Well, usually I don't initiate fights but in AK, some tankers are slow in pulling the Dulla causing it to walk past the mobs and we have to either wait for the Dulla to come back or kill the mobs on time before it comes.
In that case, when I see the opportunity to pull the Dulla right before he pass the mobs, I will do so. That is if my tanker was slow.
But of course I don't deliberately pull and thinking of tanking it, once I throw my spear i will elusive jump back and let the tanker take over after that
This is just a special case.
Sure, not a problem, I'm sure I'll handle just fine. You're acting like BRD or BLM haven't kited AK mobs before.
DPS aren't as fragile as you make them out to be. I main a tank, and I know that most DPS'es I do party with are capable of handling themselves if I lose aggro to a single target - mainly back when I was using GC weapons, and trying to keep up with Relic +1 DPS in AK.
