Bland Gear For Magic Users

I woke up this morning after a night of leve links. I figured I reached lvl 40 THM I should get some gear as I will be reaching the void soon. So I went to the wards to check out my options and didn't find too much. Then it occurred to me "oh I should check out Rowena to see what faction gear I could get". The stats on the Harlequin's gear was great but boy was it ugly. The hat has some colour but the the Acton is gray and bland. I'm a 50 Glad so my faction gear is white and gray but it fits. I chose to wear it over the Vintage Hauby because of the colours and how it all matches and makes me look mean. When I think of mage gear I think of bright colours to match the wide variety of spells they have on hand.

So I guess my suggestion is add some colourful gear for mages. Does anyone else feel there's a lack of colour? Let me know!

I personally prefer muted colours/drab styles because it is easier to create harmony with such colours and they generally go together with other pieces easily.

In any case, I think we are getting more "colourful" gear soon. Colourful in the sense that the gear will have more character, not colourful in the sense that we will be dressed to the nines in primary colours and flourescent neon pinks.

I dig the harlequin's gear as it reminds me of one of the better characters in Chrono Cross. Her stuff was more colorful too though now that ya mention it. Harlequin legs should be sarouels instead of tights also.

On a similar note, I find it annoying that the MP+ tiers of mitts favor THM but not CON. That's more about function rather than aesthetics, but it's still stupid.(The leggings are the same way)

I agree caster gear looks a tad bit boring. I hope to see things like Manteels added in the future.

I also have an issue with my white pantyhose that my highlander MAR is forced to wear. At least give me some minimal bulge for heaven's sake if I have to prance around in tights. SE has increased the size of everything except the non existent junk!
