Worst expierence ever. So bad I avoided team battles for few days after. I wasn't upset, just lost belief in my abilities.
Was Titan, my 1st time. I play for fun (you can tell as I only get Titan now, and am lv43). I don't preread tactics online, I like to learn from my errors-that's the fun, right? Apparently not.
I didn't know what to do with the wide jump, and was pushed off. I think some lag didn't help, but won't blame that.
I start to work on posititions, but after 3rd push off one DPS ripped into me. I mean, ripped me a new one. In all hours of playing this game, I have never had a barrage like that. Tank was quiet-tho to be fair, he was alive and well-it was me that kept dying.
I had to leave in the end cos the DPS spent more time calling me names etc than his job! Would have been quicker to type a hint to help me??
It was DF team, so I now use my friends and FC for such things. Shame that DPS ruined it for me for a while. Help, not hinder;that was all I needed.

That's a shame, Shmunkster. I strongly suggest, however, that you watch a video or look up the strat for Garuda before you actually do the fight, even if you're doing it with friends.

Its cool, as I have now friended 2 really good tanks I have played with, and my husband on PC (I am on our PS3) is a BlackMage, so I can usually create a team with my FC also....and the nice thing is, if we mess up bad, we all just type "lol" to each other....and not profanities....

Today was the first day I healed Brayflox's Longstep as a SCH with an MNK, DRG, and PLD (let's call the PLD Harry). Don't be fooled, the PLD was no tank. He spammed riot blade the whole time and couldn't keep aggro to save his life (or anyone else's). He force removed protect every time I put it up and wouldn't buff himself. Our DRG had a PLD as well and tried to walk Harry through an aggro building skill rotation. Harry refused to change or even acknowledge group chat. EoS, our MNK, and DRG were were awesome enough to make up for a tank who wouldn't build threat. Somehow we had the patience to finish the instance with the tank running around without a clue. Dunno if he was just trolling or whatnot, but he was unsuccessful. We finished the instance, made a friend (DRG was on my server), and got a horror story to tell of my own. Good Times!

For me I had a particular run back when i was leveling my CNJ/WHM - I was doing a random run of Haukke Manor. We had a Gladiator who couldn't even hold a single monsters attention for more than half a second a pugilist who didn't understand the concept of avoiding aoes or using positional attacks and a summoner who for whatever reason couldn't grasp the idea of what it was she was supposed to be doing in general occasionally casting ruin and rarely placing single target dots because she believed the cast time dots were ineffective. Essentially i spent the dungeon healing, tanking, dpsing AND hitting ALL of the lanterns on the final boss. I'm not sure how i pulled it off but i promptly left the dungeon before the chest was even opened. We finished with under 3 minutes remaining. ><

Oh and the pugilist i guess leveled primarily on fates, as she ran around most of the time making sure to tag each and every monster at least once before settling on a single target. Was amusing at first but became a hassle breaking all of the sleeps and having to work around her circle of tag.

That there is called the circle derp. At first i thought this was a mysteriously rare and special being, but i have been proven wrong with every class i take into a dungeon.

Man, what a horrible experience. My friends and I had something similar occur tonight when all got criticized, after beating Chimera in under 30 minutes, after wiping four times, this summoner decided that wasn't fast enough, and I was to blame for some of the wipes prior. So after telling everyone good work, he tells me to "stfu". I let it go and continue about my business when 30 min. later, he sends me a tell informing me I should rethink my role and that he is writing about me on the forums under bad whm's not to group with."

Unfortunately we have immature players out there, keep your chin up, your a good healer, you may have room for improvement, but who doesn't?

So i had a pretty funny one recently on a Praetorium run i was doing for tomes i joined through DF. Anyway get in and it's me and another WHM and after a few seconds the other WHM starts calling everyone noobs in chat and starts spinning around on the spot spamming the laugh emote constantly. So we are going through the dungeon and this WHM won't shut up and then when we get to Ultima this same WHM dies constantly and i spent most of it solo healing. After the whole performance i was expecting them to be pretty hardcore or something XD.

Anyway we finish and they say something like "Oh wow it's the first time i managed to finish this boss" I'm not sure what the whole thing at the beginning was about if they are a noob themselves lol.

Nah, that's not true.
Try to use a WotL reminder macro and a SCH, and even the worst group ever won't be so bad.
You just need to find a way to create cooperation between the members of the party.
I spent more than a week on Titan HM now (never won XD), but I can't think about anytime the fight got horrible.

Just had to tell....I am levellling my Thurma to get Swiftcast...enter Halitali as Thurma...Tank withdraws..one DPS leaves, CNJ leaves....i wait...another DPS joins...Tank joins...we wait...no CNJ....i say; "I can Cure and Protect."
So my nightmare was being Healer, as a lv22 Thurma, with only CureI..and no MIND points allocated! Haha!
