So game is a success. Can now please fixed the .3 lag and improve the GcD.

As many have seen this game been a big success. It now time for them to make the game mainstream for all gamers and players. And they can make millions more.

Right now only thing holding game back is the GcD and the .3 server lag junk. With there new found wealth they should be able to rent a few programmers to fixed it in a week.

GcD is fine and most people don't lag. Hopefully in the near future we can get the people who are lagging to stop doing so.

There is a reason why there is a GCD, and it's because of consoles. You will not see a reduction in the GCD until you see SE toss out the PS3 and PS4 versions of the game. Since that is not happening, I suggest you sit back and enjoy it.

I am on the Ps3 version of the game and the GcD is bad, If been on a controller for 30 years. You can scroll , button smash or use the mouse on the side fine. and set the right macros set up, but the macros lag on the console. Sucks when you got to wait on your rotation. Rusty hearts from perfect worlds uses control config amazingly well. And you can run it on crappy CPU and ps3 is stronger then that type of cpu.
Hopefully the ps4 version with direct 11 , will get the option use the PC Hud. Since the ps3 ram is lacking .

You are very wrong, the majority of players are lagging. Anyone who does not live in the same country as the server is located will have higher ping due to the physical distance between the server and their location. But there is nothing SE can do about this unless you want them to build a server specifically for every country.


On another note

The 300ms positional delay however is just plain silly. However I do love the GCD, I'm tired of doing 3 attacks while the same guy who lives in the same country as the server can do 5~7.

Also if got speeds like this the game throttles you and make the .3 lag nasty as hell dodging stuff only way to fixed it is download 5 or more files and throttle your speed and hope there outdated server center will not see you got a throttle on your end. Yeah I dodge stuff 99% of the time but the 1% of the time that it's total BS and I shoulda dodged something but didn't because of lag (I notice happens more during peak hours and weekends) it's totally because my skills magically disappeared and now "suck". Must be my fault when I move to interrupt a cast and yet it still goes off .5-1 second later too huh? You know what?... Shut up. I'm so tired of everyone telling everyone else what they are or are not experiencing. I play a ton of shooter games and it's like this all the time. If you mention lag it's because your aim is bad or your internet sucks. I'm not even experiencing these issues but I wouldn't DARE to tell someone they are not. I hope you get some super stupid terrible lag some day and end up eating every move totally ruining a run for you and your group and then cry lag only to have them berate and belittle you and tell you how bad you "suck".

PS My internet is around 125Mbps DL and 60Mbps UL with a ping ranging from 1MS to servers near me up to around 100MS to servers on the other side of NA which would include Montreal where the FFXIV: ARR servers are.
