    My last name is borrowed from the extremely brilliant and insightful Hannah Arendt. She was a political theorist that fled from Germany during World War II, eventually settling in the United States. Her work regarding the hows and whys of Totalitarianism are considered to be very important. If you've heard of the phrase, "the banality of evil," she is the one who coined it. She is, in my opinion, one of the most awesome people ever.
    Ugh. Having read both The Human Condition and Origins of Totalitarianism, I have to agree she was rather smart person, but I can't really recommend the books to anyone.. They're too, erm.. boring..

    It clearly must have left an impression for you to so strongly feel the need to comment on it.

    I'm not here to discuss her theories. I came to post in the thread explaining my character's name. All I want to say is that given the current state of the world, I couldn't recommend her writing to people enough. It has nothing to do with the entertainment value either.
