Vanya Silk and requirements for crafted gear that make no sense.

Astral Ring, over melded with vit and crit is comparable to, if not better than allagan. Vanya Robe properly slotted is much better than DL. If you get the Allagan helm, it's also your only option. Also, these are mats you don't have to farm yourself but can buy. Once people get all their DL, there will be surplus of these mats and prices will drop. I think SE made the right choice.

Seems like you guys don't understand what OP is trying to say.

People will alway try to have gear as fast/cheap as possible (DL gear) to do raid, rather than a slow method (crafted gear).

I make easily one piece a day for guild members (guild size of <100) and see basically everyone that stands outside coil and in Mor Dhona in crafted gear. It's very easy to see people think it is worth the investment just by looking around my server. Numerous people in my guild are gearing their 2nd and 3rd classes in it already even.

This.. Noob guilds run around in darklight with no crafted and wonder why they cant clear turn 4.

Except that eventually the economy will get to the point where crafted gear will be faster to get because people will just outright buy them.
What's faster to get for a fresh 50: a 150k Vanya Robe or a DL cowl that requires 1300ish tomes?

Honestly.. the prices are plummeting now that the first wave of 50s are done farming darklight. The only item of consequence for any of the two star crafts are the tome items, everything else is essentially valueless. Vanya robe costs 150-200k to make and youre complaining about 2-3k in twinthread? Not really a problem, at all.

Also, you should look up how to HQ vanya, you'll need around 347 craftsmanship, 340 control, and as much CP as you can overmeld. You'll also need CRP to 50 and probably want ALC to 50 as well. Not to mention CUL to 37 and everything else at 15.

Endgame crafting is no joke, if you don't want to deal with it there is always darklight.

Anyway SE didn't put much thought into the crafting tbh, just take the tanking ilvl70 set, nearly costs less tomes to craft it than getting DL
