ya i know XD. Oh well I'm gonna laugh when people say you got "5 gold medals of stupidity/ aurguments" kinda reduntent imo. We do not need post counts or a gaudy icon to establish them.
Trust me...... lol.... nearly everypost i do/say Someone does a personal attack using my post count as the weapon. Like I give a rats arce. It just means i'm on here alot and are social :P And most of that is due to the character limitation of the ps3. And would only have 1/2 what I do if there wasn't
Yeah, this would be a better idea. Right now, the medals are redundant. We already can see post count via the actual "post count" counter. It also gives the false impression that more posts = better poster, when we all know that that is not necessarily the case.
Many of the best comments that I've read so far have been by members with low post counts.
One thing, though - if we were to change it so that medals are an indicator of how many "likes" on has gotten, this could still be abused. For example, in one of my threads, I had a makeshift "poll" which was gauged by how many likes each option got. This would artificially inflate my like count. Hmmmm... me be intrigued
They could have an amalgamation of points for different things on lodestone. Gamerescape does.
Wikiedits give you points on the Gamerescape forums.
I have to thank Square-Enix for the amazing job they have done recreating Final Fantasy XIV from Scratch. Especially the inclusion of Missing Genders which we petitioned for in good faith. This was proof to us players that the Developers are truly Sympathetic to our requests and that being honest and vocal can pay off with the amazing characters we have who are Female Roegadyn, Male Miqote, and Female Highlanders. Thank You SE, Thank You Community Team, Thank You Yoshi-P.
