This is a product of the current gamer generation. They want everything easy, they want everything now, and they want everything everyone else has. Don't get it, throw yourself on the ground of the nearest forum and throw a temper tantrum until the Devs give in. The MMO genre has been rife with this mentality for almost a decade since... well we all know when. Trouble is with the saturation of the market, MMOs are fighting for players and often catering to the lowest common denominator is the best way to compete. Until crowd-funding leads to an insurgence of niche MMOs designed to cater to very specific mentalities we are going to have to put up with the PlaySkool era of MMOs for a while.
