Just use homepoint like I always do, waiting for healer sometimes take too long and I have no patience for that.

If I see someone lying on the ground KO'd and I'm not in a hurry to get somewhere, I'll pop Swiftcast + Raise because hey, why not.

I would always run around with my Archer with raise because i liked helping people out when i see them dead or asking for a raise in shout. One time during a fate, someone died, after it was done i raised them. They sent me a tell saying that they thought it was funny that two white mages ran passed them and a archer stopped to raise them.
I since have been leveling a white mage and love healing or raising people during fates. I always tag the mobs or boss for a moment to ensure full credit, then go into healing and raise mode for the party and others. And i always hang around for a short bit to check for dead bodies after fates, even missing other fates in the process.
you know its much easier to release and port back, in doing that you also avoid the 2 min debuffQuite depression. Seen this happened a few time. Especially around City States and other mid-high level area. I know they're probably busy but it doesn't hurt to "Raise" someone who fainted on the road. Worst experience I had was leveling a second class. Got owned while 3-4 high level healer just ran past my newly dead body. Seconds later a Lancer shows up, switches to WHM, and raise me. I thank him afterwards for the kind act.
ie dont be a lazy player ? i dont know

As a WHM / SCH myself lets be honest i dont care if someone died, even if it was in front of me as it doesnt impact me at all.
Nobody never raised me back then i when i was lvling, so why should i do it for you ?
However if im in a generous mood i will charge 1.5k for a random raise.
( 2.5k for people dieing in FATEs ).
And trust me people are more stupid than you can think.
Most of times they re willing to pay rather than just warp back to the camp we both see from where they died.
Call me jerk if you want to, im just seeing dead players as an opportunity to make money.![]()

I have always tried to lend a hand when I can. I'm a bard so I usually have to switch to archer and it is frustrating waiting to use raise after the switch. But, I would rather see a player raised and get credit for the fate they just participated in than not. But call me crazy I love the social aspect to the game as-well. Taking a bit of time to go out of your way to help someone has made me a few good friends in the game to run dungeons with, some people offer to give me things but why the heck should I take money my MP will regenerate anyway. Profiteering off a raise seems more in line with the class Thief to me.
I once saw a dead body.
I proclaimed : "Oh dear lord, this person died in front view of everyone!"
So I did the only decent thing to do, and dumped the body in the nearest body of waster.
I offer to raise whenever I see some one who is laying there unattended.
Strix: "Behold this collection of grimoires of legend! Feel their power and puissance, and let it fill you with rapturous pleasure...then DIE!"

Hai! I'm Vahl, in ur mmorpgs, sort'n my inventory and putt'n 2 many H's in my name since FFXI..FFXIV Inventory Tetris Champ

As a pld when I'm travelling I carry raise on me in case I passed a dead person, I revive him/her and go on my way, I also heal people who are doing a tough fight while on my travels. I feel like I'm playing my role well, Paladins are supposed ti be kind just people who help the weak and struggling. WHMs are supposed to soothe and mend wounds. I see less of that nowadays people just go on their way and forget about others who are struggling.
If this situation arises, I always raise whoever is dead that I see. If they happen to home point, then...oh well. I don't mind helping out a fellow player, but it shouldn't be "expected," like MadMacallan mentioned, it is more of a nice gesture really.
