SE , Endgame Just Isnt There - Are you going to Re-Sub

While i appreciate there being a CAP and the fact i cant just farm AF2 gear in like 2 days. The fact that the only progression for me gear wise is to do 1 of 2 dungeons which are always Speedruns AK/WP simply cause at the times i choose to play cause i live in AUS , coil T1 is either already done by most and well crafting is just meh. In additional to what i orginally pointed out . WHy would i fate grind my fate to 50 on yet another class like where the hell is the variety. Surely SE could have made quests reset for each job.

to the OP: You're right, endgame just isn't there yet. That's because it hasn't all been implemented. What we have is the very beginning of endgame. I'm not going to resub, because I'm subbed currently, and happily waiting patiently for new content while I level other jobs and try to clear coil.

So you think its ok that the only real piece of endgame content forces you to shout or have a Pro FC. Given there is no Oceanic Server i have to find and convince an FC hey can we try to coil at like 6pm AEST cause i work and dont want to login at 3am to do this or only attempt coil on a weekend buring alot of time as Coil obviously isnt easy and requires practice all because Square Enix thought after re-releasing a game it was a bad idea to include stuff like this in the Duty Finder.

Yes, I feel the top tier content of the game should not be available without a proper grouping or coordination and not dumbed down to a duty finder. Have you even attempted to look for an FC with times that coincide with your play time? I mean seriously, it sounds like you took the first FC invitation you got and ran with it. The forums provide an area for posting for each individual server. why not start a topic on there or do some research for any groups currently playing at your playtimes.

Has it occurred to you that if you are unwilling to do the simplest of mickey mouse things that the game asks you to do then maybe the game just is not designed for you? Best buck out gracefully instead of starting threads like this that do absolutely nothing for you in the end but instead, make you look like you require attention to maintain your playtime.

Why not log in during your peak hours and /yell your job and equipment and start asking for an end game FC? or even better log on and start shouting for your own groups?

There are some unofficially oceanic servers in the JP datacenter where many oceanic players have agreed to play there.

I hope your right. Ill probably stick around till 2.1 and watch the games progress but im not going to resub unless things needed get added to Duty Finder especially Coil. YEs it does require organisation at the moment as previously mentioned. But wouldnt simply putting a gear check item lvl in fix that . So if your not Full DL and Relic +1 equip you simply cant enter. I do see that some poeple get carry and are just bad . But at least it would give players and alternate way to do it . I think 2.1 is the final straw for alot of people

It is not planned to add Coil to DF in 2.1 (maybe in 2.2, the first 5 turns after they added more turns)
But Crystal Tower would be in DF

I won't resub again, feel very dissapointed with Yoshida.

The only way that i will pay subs again if they change a lot of things from the game like the linear gear progression, the way to lvl the classes, the shitty armoury system, and a lot of more things but since it doesn't seem this will going to change i'm pretty much done with XIV.

People are getting bored and in a result of being bored, they will quit, period. Whether YOU personally are having a good time is completely irrelevant because a lot of people aren't. You have to be insanely naive to think that's not gonna happen.

I'm basing this not only from the forums, heaps of my friends are finding less reasons to logon and have that "cbf" attitude because they are pigeon holed into dumb things. I'm seeing more and more people in shout say they are tired of doing the same thing over and over and losing motivation to level alts because fates are almost as boring as watching paint dry.

50? spam AK/WP...
leveling? spam Fates...

Do this for an entire month, now you're ready for Coil with that +1 Relic.

I am not "jumping" on the devs, I am merely stating what's wrong with the game.

I want the game to be fun with variety, and I'm making sure Square receives the feedback they deserve.

Having Fates as the only viable option is not only bad for "boredness" but it also makes a lot of people really bad at their class. 50's not knowing how to tank... 50's not knowing about heal agro... it's a terrible design concept, dungeons need to be buffed so people understand how their class works in a 4-man and 8-man setup.

Buffing Dungeons means

1. Variety for both leveling alts and level 50's tome farming
2. People will learn their class.
3. New Players aren't stuck in story queues for 3 hours.
4. Promotes MVP system

Why some people disagree with those 4 statements is mind boggling.

I was in a Fate group the other day, 6 tanks and 2 dps... and people wonder why DF takes long to pop?

I'm not asking for level 50 versions of every dungeon, we have level sync which would work very nicely for 50's farming tomes.

Queue For All is coming, but they should reward 50's that use that button 100 tomes at the end of each dungeon (excluding story primals, those should give 10-15-20)

i agree, kinda boring only doing coils -_- it sucks that we have to wait next patch for a content that should have been here in 2.0
