    low lvl gear plays a factor too. bad gear means the healer has to heal more.

    Ask the WHM to stop spamming Medica II, problem solved.

    Most crappy White Mages overheal during pre-heart. Unless of course you're just incapable of pressing 1-2-3 properly or something.

    ON Titan I can easily hold hate against a full relic group, what I can't hold hate off of is a WHM spamming Medica 2 right from the get go. In which case if they die. It's there own damn fault.

    As others have said; it's most like not your fault. The Whm(s) should not be using Medica two for the first few phases, if at all til after heart.

    I've tanked Titan 30+ times, and I've only lost hate twice. In the same fight. To the same WHM. I've never lost it to a dps. If a WHM is pulling aggro, it's because he's over-healing and isn't paying attention to his threat meter. (Or doesn't know it exists.) Regardless of that, though... you will be blamed for it. All I heard was "tank fail" from everyone in the group, until the second WHM jumped to my defense and pointed out that the other WHM was using his abilities at the wrong time.

    As long as you keep spamming your threat abilities in rotation you will keep the boss on you. Tanks are designed to protect their team from the mobs.... but even the best can't protect the team from themselves.

    Looking at your profile, gear wise you seem good for someone doing Titan there first time. All DL plus Ifrit blade so no issues there unless people in your groups are rocking relic+1. Even then do your rotations as stated by everyone here especially with FoF popped before you Shield lob. Be sure you to utilize CoS and Spirits within when they are available. To help with hate be sure to pop flash at the end of every RoH combo for the first stage or two, while keeping an eye on the hate meter. If/when you notice someone else is starting to inch you out on hate be sure to utilize flash, and don't underestimate Shield Swipe. It hits for a lot and adds to your overall hate without disrupting your RoH combo.

    Just keep up FOF and spam your basic combo, weaving in a Spirits Within and Circle of Scorn whenever they're up and you should never lose aggro as long as your healers understand what aggro is and pay attention.

    If you find yourself running low on TP, spam Flash for a bit while it regens. I usually waited till around 100-200 TP to do this.

    Make sure the SCH casts adloquium before you pull. Adlo + stoneskin will buy enough time to build hate without the need for any immediate heals. It makes a HUGE difference in threat at the start of the fight.

    shield lob-->circle of scorn--->flash--->fast blade-->spirits within--->finish combo.

    healers should not use regen/medica II until sufficent hate is built. relic white mages/bards should use their enmity reducing skills.

    by the end of the fifth phase, no one should be able to pull hate off of you without you dying first.

    The question is, how id you lose hate on Titan HM? I did it, and it was a cake walk. Make sure you DO NOT have Regen up when you pull, but really any good WHM should already know by this fight not to cast that at the start of a fight.

    Shield Oath > Fight or Flight > Shield Lob > Flash > Fast Blade > Riot Blade > Rage of Halone

    Then I just kept doing Rage of Halone Combos, and popping cooldowns when necessary. Keep up Spirits Within and Circle of Scorn as well.
