This thread has nothing wrong in the entire logic. All I stated before, is a possible path. Also I just edit my previous post, you might want to read the background information I gave about Yoshi. To be honest, I wouldn't be impressed it was like that. ;-)

I have nothing against puzzles being in the game, but you're using the term incorrectly. Even if there is some kind of connection between what you do in turn 3 "teaching" you how to deal with the mechanics in turn 5, that is not a puzzle. That's like saying the first mini-boss in Turn 1 is a puzzle to beating ADS in turn 2, which it isn't.

And my brain hurts comment was directed at your ability to effectively convey your messages. I have to re-read everything you say 4 times just to get a vague idea. (Don't mean to be rude but yea)

The data just feels... cherry picked. You claim there's 5 parts to the relic quest line, but there are 9 major steps. You're correlating 2 fights by connections of a mechanic or two. Should we have looked to Copperbell Mines for strategies on Caduceus or other turns because Caduceus splits, sort of like Ichorous Ire? Gyges the Great in there also has some interesting add mechanics like ADS and Hyrda, and Kottos is, at least partially, a gauntlet-style fight like Turn 4...

That's it! The answer is in Copperbell Mines!

I don't mean to offend, I just don't find any of the "proof" compelling. And, as stated, it's rather hard to follow.

Edit: There's also useless, meaningless trash in Copperbell, just like Turn 3!

Then just forget about it. If you can't follow, why bother I just refuse to think that RNG is the only way to win that fight. So I was "call it" brainstorming if there "was" a puzzle. Never stating there is, but on the other side, as said before, I wouldn't be impressed if there was like a hint somewhere ingame. Yoshi is an experienced MMO-Creator, I just find it very hard to believe he would script a Raid Boss purely on RNG. Running as fast as you can, hope the tornado spawns in your back. While if you have lag it spawns on top of you. Then I just hope he didn't make it that way :-) enough other MMO's available where it happened that RNG was balls on their first game. So assuming he's the man with the experience, I rather hope he implemented some sort of hint. Sorry if I offended anyone by that :-)

Thanks for wasting everyone time on nothing. Turn 5 is independent like every single turn. Nothing you do in any turn effect how 5 plays out for you nor do hint at how you deal with twisters.

Again Dofty, I have nothing against puzzles being in the game, I was one of the people theorycrafting about turn 3 having a hidden boss before the devs confirmed it didn't have one. But I find the likelyhood that being thrown through the air on pads in turn 3 has anything to do with teaching you how to deal with the twisters in turn 5, very, VERY unlikely.
