    This logic holds no weight.

    Yes, the body and head are combined, but the head is still there. The model is a body and head combination, and the work required to make the head transparent from a 3d modelling perspective is very minimal.

    They could very easily make the head transparent. Very easily. Now, unless there's some coding issue with tying this transparency of what is essentially a body part to the current hide helmet option there is 0 reason to not implement this.

    Don't be silly. Only nobility in the Middle Ages could afford the penta-melded helmets required to survive fights with dragons. And my character is poor, therefor I should be able to go helmet-less like a serf in the Middle Ages.

    Why does every miqote think this is a miqote only problem? NOBODY can move their necks in this armor, so the head moving side to side and staring to the side and at the ground while tanking happens for everyone.

    That being said, I agree, I hated this armor, was so glad to get rid of it. Then again, the armor is so bulky I'm pretty sure not showing the helm would look worse, everyone would look like they have a very tiny head lol. If we could /visor that would be fine.

    it does, you still negating that the heavy darklight body is equipped to the body and not the head. 2 pieces that are 1. I remember in a live letter that people wanted the hood from white mage to cover the head. the code that they tried to implement wouldn't work because the program couldn't recognize the headpiece. but still no matter how you look at it, it cant and wont be implemented. get a dev up in here to get the response so they can say im right lol.

    the armour itself doesnt bother me.. its the fact the head doesnt move independantly from the body.. giving your character a zombie like look.. reminds me of dark souls enemies..

    i don't care if it cannot be taken off.. just please make it move separately from the body

    the funny thing is, the concept art for arr marauder shows a character clad in heavy darksteel WITHOUT the helmet xD but they couldn't iimplement it in-game orz

    Except, it's the correct logic. That's the reason why it doesn't work. The /visor command and the headgear toggle specifically reference the head slot. It is for this reason (among others) that it doesn't work. You have to realize that every exception and special case you create increases the complexity of the underlying script.
