its not a helmet its part of the body armor, just like i doesnt have a visor for the command to work is it so hard to understand? and why do people QQ over such stupid things

It's a helmet. It's shown quite clearly with the joint on the neck. If you think something like that can be worn without having the helmet separate in some way, I'm afraid you don't know how plate armor works.

I never ever ever went for the body piece precisely for this reason. Well, that, and the trash can is ugly as sin.

Not possible as it's part of the model. You'll just have to hope that future full plate suits either don't include the helm or design it to be togglable.

This is absolutely false. There are a number of ways to make it possible, from a simple model swapping to texture swapping with transparent ones on the helmet part.
