Did you not use the backup utility to just transfer all your data to it? It would have saved you some patch time. Let me know how you like your ssd... I'm still looking for one that I would be happy buying.

Loading screens that took 20+ seconds now load in 3 or 4 seconds. FATEs with tons of people are now possible for me as the monsters are loading so fast it almost looks like they load before the players around them do. I'm able to comfortably participate in Dragonhead FATE parties on PS3. Worth every penny.

I have put a 500GB/4GB flash hybrid in my MacBook and the performances raise is quite noticeable. I wonder how it would perform in a PS3. Especially now that there are SSHD with much larger flash RAMs.

Still, the SSD performances on PS3 hit the bottleneck of the SATA2 bus. That's a bit of a shame.
