That's the thing though, people are leveling different classes, but on alt characters so they can work around the Coil lockout and weekly tome cap.
Having said that though, these people are edge cases with way more spare time than the average player.

Anyways, repeating the same content on different classes (grinding the same old FATEs to 50) is not "content".
I have one thing to do in the week. That's Coil, then I'm done. I do WP if I need extra cash and want to sell tomes or get alt gear. Repeating WP a million times is not content.
There is no real variety of content. You have crafting, where you sit and do the same crafts over and over standing in the markets to hit 50.
The only remotely changing content is gathering leves that have you moving across the maps.
Hell, the big flaw in this game is that all those different battle leves are pointless to do because their money rewards are inferior and they don't really give anything of value.
All these leveling dungeons. I hate leveling, because so much content is made obsolete by becoming outdated. Imagine if all those resources making useless leveling dungeons most people hardly do a couple of times was spent instead making dungeons for endgame that people actually would consider running.
The entire reward scheme is warped as well. There's only one thing to look for in this game, and that's gear upgrades. Since those come from tomes or coil, people find the best dungeon for grinding tomes.
Primals would be more popular if their rewards were actually worthwhile. If the furniture drops weren't pitifully low. But they've made a hierarchy of content that's pretty empty at the top.
Every MMO is a beta for as long as it exists.
No really. Every patch introduces new features, and also new things for people to complain about. 2.1 comes along, another new thread with the same title as this. A year from now, another one. 2 years, another one. It happened in FFXI, it happened in WoW, and XIV is no exception.
A lot of people don't seem to realize the vast majority of players do not conquer all content in the game by the time new content comes out.

Yeah you should cancel and go play that perfect mmo that has everything your looking for!
SWTOR had a lot more content at start.
But for a game where the producer say that the game truly starts at endgame, it has very little content at where the game truly starts.
