For accuracy you are looking for anywhere between 450 and 470 to get to effectively 100% to hit. ACC (to cap) > INT > DET > CRIT > Rest; there is some discussion on Piety being highly valued if you can add a little (like 4-8 piety) and get an extra Fire 1 into your rotation, spell speed is somewhat useful if it's pushes you to the next cast speed reduction (every 10/11 Spell Speed). ~6 DET = 1 Int. Nothing is more annoying then missing an Ice III and not having the mana to cast another one to get you mana regen stacks >_<
*edit* 450-470 being bosses in Coil, 450 being ~99% for most everything 470 being 100% for all mobs/bosses.

You should try to maintain around 440 accuracy minimum (at least as far as turn 1-3 is concerned--I have not tried BLM on t4 or 5 since I main MNK). Lower than that and you will see misses; not many misses but it only takes one missed Blizzard III to screw up your DPS. When I did t1-2 on BLM for the first time I was around ~420 (vanya/DL mix with relic, but stardust has no acc) and was seeing about 5% miss rate on spells over the course of a couple hours. After a bit of adjustment I don't miss any more (can't check right now but I think I'm at 439 acc on my BLM). When you are upgrading gear, keep that number in mind; for example if you're using Darklight Cowl which has a lot of accuracy on it and you get the Allagan Tunic of Casting, you will most likely be hurting for accuracy.

I thought acc was 435... but anyway, if you are full DL, relic, etc you may* not be at cap. I mean, I am and I am not capped. Close, but not quite there. However you should be running with food, and there is good food out there with acc on it to make up for that. What you will notice as a big issue is actually when you start to get allagan pieces in BC. Because the way the stats go, it is really going to take a hit on your acc. That is really the most important thing, because as someone else mentioned missing a Bliz 3 is no bueno.
Also, if we could ever REALLY stack spell speed, it would be amazing. With my current gear my fire spells are going at 2.39 seconds (.11 seconds faster), and when SCH has their support pet out that drops to like 2.20 for me. So do not underestimate the power of spell speed. Our class scales VERY well off that stat, and it will be amazing the more we get (looking forward to the day my fire spells are under 2 seconds!)
This is false.
I sit at 442 accuracy and have 100% accuracy(Except for my pet. My pet has ~99.5% accuracy or so. It missed 3 times on 7-8 attempts on turn 5), on all 5 turns.
No one knows the exact amount for casters. Some say 435, I used to think it was 451. I have no real way to lower my accuracy besides just un-equipping pieces, so I can't test it.

Well, what I can say is 424 is too low, hence why I have to use food to hit the cap (or be pretty close). I think with the food it puts me at 434 or 432, and I haven't had a miss that I *noticed* (keep in mind that only a Bliz 3 and a thunder cast missing would likely be the only things I would notice since it would painfully screw up my rotation.) I have certainly had misses at 424.

Odin behaves very strangely. I'm almost wondering if he's bugged or if it's just a problem with all of the people in the zone. I land my Blizzard 3's for full damage on him, yet it takes me spamming the spell like 20x to get my Umbral buff on. I thought I was being resisted, but when it's hitting for full damage, I'm really at a loss.
(sorry for the derail, but Odin has been bugging me when my Astral/Umbral buffs don't activate upon full damage of my spells :P )

Odin has very high avoidance/resist, so it's kinda hard to figure out.

Odin also likes to level up and thus his stats are of course higher than a level 50.
