i think it would be cool to have jobs unlock similar to FF tactics like you get GLD and CON to a certain LVL to unlock PLD quest, THM and MRD to unlock DRK and so on, that would be cool and make Jobs harder to get and more unique

Anything to make this game harder and rewarding, I'm for. But yeah I think that's the consensus of the community for how its gonna go down.
XI: Walton [Gilgamesh/Carbuncle]
XIV: Walton Rowe [Figaro]
Pipe dreams. Thats not happening. Nor is it even challenging its just a waste of time.
It was actually something I was thinking about. Would work imo.
the challenging part would be, if SE gets creative, once you get the classes neede to unlock the quest, make the quest challenging, like if a person has "unlock DRK" on the journal, POP a NM inside a dungeon that need to be killed to prove you are worth been a DRK
It's more likely you need to be skilled in one job to specialised.
GLD 30 > PLD quest
CON 30 > WHM/BLM quest
I imagine most classes will get dual specialistion, GLD will probably get a DD type job aswell.
PLD will probably come with its own set of skills (cure, protect, shell etc) so you won't need to level con if you don't want to.
I'm hoping that in order to unlock a job, you have to fight something 1 on 1 (like Maat from XI) which tests your skill to the max on the particular class you play.
Would it be a douchebag move if it was maat that taught you how to use jobs in XIV
I have to thank Square-Enix for the amazing job they have done recreating Final Fantasy XIV from Scratch. Especially the inclusion of Missing Genders which we petitioned for in good faith. This was proof to us players that the Developers are truly Sympathetic to our requests and that being honest and vocal can pay off with the amazing characters we have who are Female Roegadyn, Male Miqote, and Female Highlanders. Thank You SE, Thank You Community Team, Thank You Yoshi-P.
