Sometimes I wonder if no tomestones would have been the better choice, crafted gear as baseline into dungeon gear for actual gear. Definitely would cut out this entire problem and you get rewarded for being able to complete stuff instead of farming stuff.
Then again people will just go back to complaining about bad drop rates or lock out periods =.=
*I personally don't mind the system, I actually have gear for the jobs I sideline and they are by no means obsolete.

God, this idea would be absolutely terrible. Even if the devs did this, people would immediately start crying that they have nothing to do in the game because they already have all their AF+1, Hero, and Relic+1's.
The whole idea of Myth being per character is to stagger your advancement, not only to give end-game some longevity, but to avoid people from gearing up so fast that any challenge in the game is quickly trounced. Making it per Job/Class would completely negate that. I suppose that doesn't mean much to "I want it now now nownownownowwnwowownowww" crowd. They probably just see this is interfering with their idea of FUN!
Myth cap per job would be good, but if u could spent it ONLY on gear for the job u aquired it with.
I don't get most of you.
"this game is boring there is nothing but grind endgame" -> "SE you suck. Guys lets just make 7 characters and run AK all day so we can have all sets within 5 month instead of only one set"
How is this even logical. SE currently has to limit the endgame progression because there is still content missing. Is this ideal? No but seriously it kinda has to be done. There are other ways to gear your alt jobs. Do you get the best in slot? No but pretty damn close.
Myth cap is fine.
Learn to be patient, you gain nothing by farming all your BiS (or almost BiS) equipment in one week.

I'm just going to throw this out there because I can but, if gearing up your other jobs is your main complaint saying its because of the myth cap... Wouldn't you be better off raising the craft jobs to 50? If you get them all to 50, then HQing gear is easy, including the 2 star items. That gear is actually better than myth gear when HQ, so why not do it? Would itbe boring? Heck yes it would... However the time it would take to max them out would be much faster than grinding myth for all the classes and you'd end up with better gear.

Of course they would not implement this. They want us to pay the $15 subscription instead of the $13 one.

Amen. Like I can't even be bothered to do one run of AK a week as I don't enjoy it, but stretching it out as if that requires more skill or more "earned" is nonsense as you are doing the exact same thing you would normally. Same amount of runs, same amount of effort, the only difference being you can't play a Pay 2 Play game for it's endgame content as much as you desire which I find silly. Even Nexon removed stamina from their MMOs and they make a lot more money than Square Enix does off MMOs.How is it that people like you can say that running AK 78 times in a week is the same as having everything handed to you, and at the same time argue that running AK 78 times over the course of four months qualifies as working hard and earning it? It's the same amount of work, except one person's got more drive. Newsflash: the one that's taking three months to accomplish something is technically the one who is getting handouts.
