Logic and common sense that if CT is designed and was designed to be done before coil but after relic quest it's going to be full of ilvl 80 gear. (Also dats but that's a difference story.)Just curious.
People keep saying Crystal Tower will provide iLv 80 gear. Is this from:
1. Official source such as live letters, publicized interviews? If so could anyone please provide a source?
2. "It must be so because iLv 80 gear is missing" logic.
Which one is it? I'm genuinely curious.
Agreed! I feel like some people just want to get the very best ( but they always seem like they aren't having any fun doing it) which makes it a chore. Games are suppose to entertain not "feeling" like work.It is a sad, sad thing that you look at this game like a chore.
I stopped reading after first post. Already see where this thread is going.
Same place as the other 200. Enjoy.
Monday is my favourite time of year.
But Yoshida said BC is designed so you don't need CT. That was only last month. ?_?

― Ernest Hemingway
Yeah it's not a requirement and for the most part, except for turn 4 you can actually do turn 1 and 2 without being FULL decked out - so it was intended that people did CT before going into BC in terms of difficulty/gear progression much like it was intended for people to do WP before AK.
You obviously aren't playing the whole game. I have endless activities to do and just only got my first AF gear. It's not a content problem, it's players not playing all the content available.is everyone else excited that its monday and you get to do your 2 hours of raiding end game progression for the whole week!!?
seriously though i really hope 2.1 isnt full of item level 80 gear and other things that are lesser tiered then coil. ( extreme primal , hard mode dungeons , CT) if they dont add SOMETHING else to do to progress my main more then 2 hours a week i fear they are going to start losing alot of people
just because you dont have everything 50 and arent rich doesnt mean other people arent
This really is one of the most ignorant and frustrating stances on the subject. There are people who want to level every single class/job to 50. There are people who want every single Luminary weapon. There are people who want every single item gained from achievments. There are also people who don't use such INCREDIBLY LABORIOUS tasks to artificially claim there is "tons of content" available.
There isn't. For a large group of players, there truly is no content other than capping myth / coil 1~4 (spend rest of the week on turn 5 if that's your thing). That's just the truth. If you think you can claim others are not "playing the whole game" you have to understand that not everyone is required to, and I can say with almost 100% accuracy you got bored of a game before you did LITERALLY EVERYTHING, so to tell people who are currently out of content to find other content to do, is absolutely ridiculous.
What a disappointingly thoughtless reply to a thought out point. I think it's a personal problem that you want skill chains brought back. You should stop crying about that and just get over it.Sounds like a personal problem to me. You aren't "required" to do anything. But if you aren't going to do but one very small facet of the game, don't cry about it and try to claim that we aren't getting enough content. I think a patch every 3-4 months would suffice just fine.
You're also implying that end-game progression is "a very small facet of the game". Please, just because you want to play casually doesn't make the other type of players concerns invalid.
