Do people on this forum even know what fun IS?

What have they DONE to you? SE has deprived you of enjoyment for so long you don't even recognise it anymore.

You guys keep thinking like developers but have forgotten what it's like to be a player.

Bizarre FFXI(V) fans demanding the game to lack a standard feature which almost every MMO player expects are the game's worst enemy when it comes to attracting new players.

It seems like a lot of them haven't played any other games

they enjoy the game at this state and against every suggestions from general MMO players

They are going insane behind their computers, as I mentioned in another thread. That's all they can do until they hear more information about jumping. Whether they decide to give it a /thumbsup or a /thumbsdown. Its going to be one hell of a long month..

sometimes I doubt they're spies from other companies who try to holding back the game developing... but c'mon XIV doesn't has any competitor for sure

Wow another thread? Same subject (jump) with "fun" being the twist.

@OP

the subject of jump is that both sides want immersion. Side A is content and believes jumping would ruin their experience (lol), while side B hates being stuck to the ground & running into/around objects (they just want to jump!).

Immersion aside, jump would add more to "fun" than if it were left out. Again, it would do more good than bad in the long run.
