    CT was supposed to be in the game on release, but it wasn't completed in time. The later turns in coil definitely need some ilvl 80 gear as well, and that's what you get from CT. Sure you can already get ilvl 90 gear but getting it is heavily restricted. CT is also more casual than the coil.

    Why release a new primal if it's easier than the extremes, btw? Because all new content must be harder than the previous content?

    I would like to know the answer to this as well. If relic +1 is the best weapon you can get, what is the point of new primal weapons? What need to be done is make the weapons be able to be converted into materia. then at least you can actually get some kind of use out of them.

    Vanity slots in 2.1, and Extreme Primal battles drop Primal armor.
    And they weren't actually asking a question directly, they know the answer to the question they were just questioning the logic of the person they quoted.

    Unless things have changed since Tokyo Game Show, the two are parallel paths of progression.
    Even though some would love to disagree, Coils is not a raid, but a dungeon and Crystal Tower is the first raid we're getting.

    I think that's just semantics. BC and CT are the real end-game progression paths. Just because it's 8 players doesn't mean it's not end-game progression. Smaller "raids" have been proven popular in World of Warcraft. Call it whatever you want, it's end-game progression and it will be the end-game progression if you're looking for difficult content.

    Those that say it's just a dungeon and demand CT to be progression after BC, is saying the same thing as people who say that Warriors should be damage dealers---they're ignoring the design intent and want FFXIV:ARR to fit their existing idea of what things should be like.

    According to Yoshida's past notes in previous interviews/letters. Raids will be 24 man and dungeons 8.
    I never said anything about endgame progression. Just clarifying what it is.

    Umm yes it was but it was to difficult so they took it out to lower the difficulty.
