    Pretty much every ability/spell would lock you in place until the animation finished. And back then, some animations lasted forever e.g. Chaos Thrust was around a 5 second animation in which you could not move from your spot. It was annoying, especially in fights with AoE.

    Now I feel worse for not playing it.

    I'm very turned off by melee classes in ARR, due to all the gliding. Doing a Rage of Halone in the air looks ridiculous. Most of other skills too. Wouldn't be a problem if not for all those red circles :\

    IIRC you could run and cast in 1.0 before they added the combo/job system no? Not sure anymore.

    This was the thing I hated most about 1.0. It was brutal because you couldn't move your character till the full animation is complete. I got sick of watching the combat log to time my attacks. I wouldn't be playing 2.0 if that was still here.
