AK is transition step between AF1 and DL. People start doing AK with AF1 gear and nothing more. If you fail at AK then seriously you are completely suck and bad.Oh ya, cuz duty finder is awesome and no one sucks enough to utterly fail at AK.
I had a 45 min que this morning for AK, and was left with a repair bill and a 15 min timer.
CM is a good gap filler, as it's compelte face roll, but the amount of tombs you get on completion is low considering you need 1300 just for chest.
1300 chest is actualy chest+head piece

If the entire party entering AK are fresh 50s, they're going to have a hard time.
That's why Wanderer's Palace is earlier than AK.
The reason why the level 70 gear like Vanya costs so high is you have to trade in tomestones for items to craft them. Why, so crafters can grossly overprice popular items? i am glad tomes are this way, prices for certain items are set and will never change untill SE actually adjusts them.
I can't imagine how much of the DL stuff would cost if people could craft them, i mean look at HQ vanya item price tags.
For most classes, the AK accessories are literally 1 stat point less than DL accessories, so there's lots of savings by sticking with those, and no real difference in effectiveness. Sometimes iLevel makes certain things seem like a major upgrade when they're marginal or nothing.

You do realize Vanya gear costs more tomes than Darklight, right? Given how people charge ~30k per Potash (and you need 9 to create 1 Vanya Silk), you can't exactly expect it to be cheap. And even when we get the necessary materials, it loses all of its value if you fail to HQ; sometimes it could be rotten luck, other times it could be disconnections. What I'm trying to say is that it's not precisely risk-free either. Why, so crafters can grossly overprice popular items? i am glad tomes are this way, prices for certain items are set and will never change until SE actually adjusts them.

Before accusing us of "grossly overpricing popular items", check the facts first. I would be happy if SE reduced the Potash requirement to 6 or so per Silk. At least that would make it more affordable and in consequence we could sell it cheaper.
