I really like the OPs attitude, but yours is pretty nasty...you got defensive when the one you quoted clearly was asking out of curiosity. Your response would of been appropriate had they said "WTF do you have that many members for!? How about you leave some for the other FCs".

I think it's because large FCs still tend to break off into "core" members and "cliques" so in actuality only a small % tend to actually make progress - I don't think anyone is really being rude about it.
