Stop Buying Titan Kills

Even that aside, it's downright saddening to see players resorting to having to "buy" their kills and even more upsetting to see our player base SELLING these kills. What happened to just wanting to play the game?

Newsflash - The MMO player base (in particular the PvE player base) has largely degenerated into a group that "plays" these games because they are a thinly veiled Skinner Box and things like challenge, solving problems / puzzles (see how 90% of these noobs think reading a guide to a dungeon is playing), gameplay, etc are a very, very distant second, for many they are not a feature at all, but a hindrance.

Hence why you have the behaviour you are describing in this thread and why the genre as a whole is a stagnant, unimaginative mess (FF14 is fine example of this), that is full of games that flop, because they try to design for these idiots, rather than making good games, with good game play that have genuine longevity.

I've always wondered why people who buy things like boss kills ever bother playing the game in the first place.

i always wonder why people who buy things like craft lv 50 weapon with double meld ever bother playing the game in the first place. They are suppose to know the game mechanic, crafting, gathering, instead they just being bad and buy the weapon with gil.

What sucks is, I'm considering buying a titan. But before you judge, I'd like too mention:

I have a busy evening schedule, so I never seem to be online when my fc does it(weekdays), and when im on they are running coil (weekends).
I have no plans of finding a new FC.
I know the fight.
I don't get hit by landslide, wotl, bomb rocks.
I've never died before a wipe was called.

I'm tired of pugs that advertise "5/8 fc relic titan, need pug dps, better know the fight, waste our time and be replaced" only to have them derp their way into a wotl and wipe phase 5 for 2 hours.

I'm also tired of full DL + relic drgs doing less dps than me becauae they either bought or lucked into a kill.

I know the fight and have wiped to it many times and am usually the last one standing... my fc is not progresses as far as I am so I dont have the direct support right now. I have yet to pay for it but if I have to wait to long im just going to do it... id rather get it done and give myself more time for RL then wasting it on random groups that still havent gotten it yet.

You should probably take a deep breath before ranting. Especially since you're a warrior who has not completed the fight in question. Heck, you haven't even bothered to get provoke before jumping into HM primals...

besides the fact that it worked until now on every Primal and Titan has no adds +I havent found the time to go on with my galdiator --- IT DOESTN EVEN MATTERS ? Your argument is totally stupid /facepalm. After i get some additional itemlevel 70 Pieces i get myself a grp and go to beat titan. Thats the normal way. Bringing ingame currency into it is just a sign on how terrible this community is on release.

And the funyn thing is that people actually doesnt give a shit that they are totally bad...so bad that they have to pay other people because they are to bad to do it on their own. You can try to defend as much as you like. You nothing more than a bunch of weaklings who has to pay for...... Srsly, its like going to the Redlight District because you have no chance otherwise haha.

Let me tell you a story.

Way back in Vanilla WoW I was in a raiding guild that was doing Naxxramas. We regularly did MC/BWL/AQ40 alt runs where we'd also take randoms along and just hand out gear pretty cheaply. It kept our flask machine running because eventually herbalists grew bored of gathering and we just bought the herbs off the AH as well as Ony/Hakkar buffs.

Anyway, on those runs we also happened to spot some players whom; despite their gear, we're actually pretty good at their classes. Some of them went on to become mains in our core raid group, others ended up joining other top guilds on the server. Heck some of the people who came along were alts from those other guilds.

Yes we did also have some utterly dire players in the group too, but that's part of the parcel.

The morale of this story is not everyone who goes on a sell run is inherently a bad player, some of them are undiscovered gems, some of them are simply trying to rush gear up an alt, some of them might not have otherwise had a chance to see the content due to RL commitments and of course, others were just bad.

The funniest part of the story is that the people who kicked up the biggest stink about our sell runs back in Vanilla were usually those in middle tier guilds still stuck in BWL/AQ40 who thought they were better and worth more than they actually are and lorded themselves about over people who weren't as awesome as they were. Most of the people on the top tier of progression really don't actually care much for the gear, they do it for the challenge - if you happen to clear it 5 weeks later or pay your way through it, most of us really didn't care. We accomplished what we set out to do playing the game our way, you're more than welcome to play it whichever way is fulfilling for you. At the end of the day it's a game, and those pixels and e-achievements are pretty insignificant in the grand scheme of things.

By automatically assuming that everyone who buys Titan kills is a bad player, on a fight that isn't even solely an individual skill check, it speaks more of your own mentality and attitude than anything else.
