You're not "playing the game" though when they will most likely just tell you to jump off the edge so you don't mess them up. This is one of the most pointless threads ever made, and that's quite an achievement in this forum. It's 12 pages filled with people saying the exact same thing. If you want my opinion nothing will ever change and if you have never come across the sort of player to be wearing the worst armour while having the best weapon then you must be new to MMO's.

People who buy gil to buy titan I can assure you would buy gil regardless. Personally I wouldn't sell Titan runs because of the risk of getting banned, but it is not the sellers fault for them buying gil. Nobody but the buyer is responsible for that no matter what you say.

Using the argument that there is nothing to use a relic on, isn't that down to personal opinion? Just because you only think you can use relic on coil doesn't mean everyone does. It does make runs faster whatever you choose to believe, and that in itself is a nice bonus considering how many runs you have to do to get full Darklight on only 1 class/job.

Saying that people will never do coil with their relic is silly, most will go on to attempt it but if they want to get their relic weapon now then they're entitled to that. You will absolutely NEED a relic weapon to even take part, and +1 for shout pugs so what's so bad about getting it early?

This thread is full of cheap shots by little snowflakes who want to be the best and can't because everyone is getting relic weapons. Yes people will be bad even with relic weapons, but surely you should never determine a persons skill by their gear!? I learnt that very early on. It's the same in every MMO pretty much, only skill is very important in this game. If people feel the need to buy Titan runs they will regardless of what you say so my advice is to find a new way to look for members, because it seems you're looking in the wrong places if you focus on gearchecks only.

Paying a group to run you through a hard instance isn't anything new in MMOs. Heck people do the same thing in FFXI with delve bosses. So I don't know why people are complaining about this now. Group selling the run is happy person buying the run is happy to get their relic.

There's a list kept of every player that buys a run that then gets shared with the free company's serious about raid progression.

Not my practice, but happens on my server.

I could care less what people do with their time/money. If you join a FC that knows how to coordinate you can get it done for free with relative ease. People like to come up with flowery reasons why they'd never abandon their current FC, but there's no reason why you can't make a linkshell with all your friends and then join FC's that suit your individual play styles.

i AM playing the game as intended - SE has NEVER said everyone is forbidden from paying players with IN GAME money to help them play the game - if SE had said NO, then no one would be allowed to pay other players with IN GAME money to craft items for them or to farm items for them, etc...

I had this same opion I saw players shouting in rev tole 700k Titan wins and I was shouting back at them saying. DO NOT PAY THEM, do it yourself and learn how to play.
I earned my relic without buying it, I wouldn't want to cripple my wallet or cripple my knowledge of a fight or lose my sense of achievement.
