Something needs to be done about tanks ruining the dungeon queue

For the third time in 4 hours (on a 30-45min queue, mind you) I've been having tanks that ruin the dungeon experience completely by simply running for the nearest 2-3 chests and then simply leaving, forcing the others to requeue. As a DPS this is game breaking due to the fact that queues are very long to begin with.

Any word from SE of this? Or is the the good ol' "wall of silence" / "working as intended" as usual?

Just another symptom of a broken duty finder.

Tbh this would happen no matter what, because anonymity means people can be complete d*cks and get away with it. There's no fix for it unfortunately, just have to deal with it and move on no matter how annoying it is. Or do what I do and largely run with friends.

There is an easy solution to that now,

Don't pass or roll on the gear, let it expire. The tank rolled need if it dropped, just move on and don't click on the loot window they'll be like (Roll please) and just keep going, they have three options here, 1: continue, 2: Stand afk and wait on it, 3: leave and get nothing

They should pause the loot timer until the dungeon is over or everyone clicks need/greed/pass.

You could always pull the 'evil' route and merely write down their name, and tell all your friends and Free Company not to party with this person for this reason.

No, but they could make a BLACKLIST check before gathering player. So if someone mess your run, you B-List and never see him/her again.

Et-voila! But since they want those KID to play and grief everyone because they also pay a monthly fee, they wont do that!!! ... fail ...

Only viable solution is that drops are delivered through a token system, and tokens are given at end of the dungeon.

People act the way they can, so you really have to force dungeon completion on them to let them reach their items. (That or punish people harshly like with temp bans if reported for ditching groups.)
