Do you think bard desired a nerfing soon.

I main Monk, I don't play/gear Bard even though it's 50. I'm siding with the Bards this time around, they don't need a nerf in anything at all. All this week, I've been seeing Bards DPS fall way behind as far as scaling DPS goes as our melee gear up in ilvl 90 gear. I think I'm beginning to understand that SE gave Bards terrible scaling in exchange for their utility. I actually fear that in the next couple patches, you're going to see Bards notice their DPS being behind.

By no means am I the strongest or weakest BRD in this game. I have been running coil to turn 4 the past 2-3 weeks. I am either the lowest or second to lowest dps in the raid on every fight.

Turn one is a joke don't need any commentary on that.

ADS fight, I know for at least me my DPS is diminished because I need to silence the electric attack not to mention running Foe/Mana song for Casters the entire fight. Not that its very difficult to throw in a silence but I know I am missing out on quite a few bloodletter procs while I am watching that cast bar.

Turn 4 mobility is not even required in this fight whatsoever. For legitimately a third of that gauntlet BRDs are doing 20% less damage because of songs so unless I am doing something wrong as a BRD I do not see why our damage needs to be nerfed.

But who am I kidding I am prolly terribad and need to L2Plays because I think BRDs aren't this juggernaut of a class everyone seems to think they are.

the problem is not in any way bards... the problem is the same as it is in every MMO. Bad players see someone claim another class is OP so they jump on the bandwagon. Good players will always be wanted in raids regardless of class.

If bards are OP then whats that make a tank because you cannot ever go into raid content without a tank or healer. Bards are needed but so are other DPS. If you are one of the people who think monks need a buff then you are in that boat of bad players.

So sick of hear nerf this nerf that.

FACT: Bad players always bitch and moan on the forums, good players are busy killing bosses and proving the forum QQ is wrong.


Also bard DPS does not fall behind. Its simply that when people learn to play the average bard is shown as average.. Top end bards will still do top end DPS regardless of gear level. Bad players will never be good DPS when you put then next to a good player of anything else.

while we are at it Nerf TP regan for u DRG's and don't let blood for blood be transferable and do more dmg to us.

Well... look at my gear and compare it with yours... I am comparing myself with a dragoon with the same gear. The same amount of DL pieces and Ifrit weapon. So my point is one of the most valid in the whole thread.
The Bard is an easy job and have much more mobility but we have the worst relic and the worst upgrade for example we have the same DMG as other dps classes and if a Bard have much more damage than others is because these others are doing something wrong... but like I said is more dificult learn how to play a melee rol...
