Then go Play TeraQuests we already had, armors/weapons all copy/pasted excluding corset, more things to do? I dont see this, killed all new 20 NM's in couple hrs, long live content... Ingame events; we've had one different since bells which was go get some eggs, insane took me couple minutes. Content/Communication I dont see, SE is silent as ever
Thats odd since they've had 2 months, TERA introduced new dungeons within 3 months of release. Non copy/pasted.
Why do you purposefully ignore information to try to have a point? He also stated he can't break even financially unless it does well in JP/NA/EU.
Don't leave out the rest of the said interview![]()
Rift was crap anyone could see that, I played it for a week in beta and was bored of it.Even Rift is starting to lose it's luster with many. Tera has begun to lost it's luster with the korean base which is why they're hoping it does well elsewhere or it's game over. They can't even break even currently.
So there's "too many good MMOs" coming out but it does nothing if it doesn't pertain to your particular preference. Lots of people want to play a FF MMO and hope XIV recovers, most want to play generic clone B because it's new.
Rift's success was because it was a generic clone that took concepts from XI and many other MMOs just like WoW did at the time - It's nothing new or unique.
Tera is failing in Korea because the game is too westernised, Korean MMO players prefer long drawn out grind style MMO's and PVP Tera's progression is more like WoW, with fast leveling and end game content.
It's also worth mentioning that many people left Tera because it launched with no end game, just as FFXIV launched with no meaningful content and the result for both games was the majority of the playerbase leaving.
The good thing with Tera is by the time it come to the US/EU there will be plenty of content.
Aion also died a fast death because it launched with no decent content, I wonder when MMO developers will learn not to rush their games out.
Please stop using this as an excuse, yes SE made a massive mistake when developing this game but the fact still remains it will be 9 months since launch and the game is still barely much better than it was when it came out, sure the UI is faster and the SP gain is better but those are both small fixes.I figure you were smart enough to know the difference between an established game that doesn't need fundamental redesigns and a game that does.

But that is obvious :s so im not sure what you're on about? XIV wont break even at all at its current rate lol. Its sad they have to go f2p just to survive while TERA is currently making money.

Posts:240Basicly all it going to do is add more lore. It will be the Companies going into these dungens. Its just going to be a story of what it was like in their. It's not going to give any hard details but stories. Kinda like what we have on the Companies when you go to Loadstone.
Its going to be nothing special, just hype with no hard description just like what we got on the info of the Companies.
Ya i nailed it.
Again you continue to ignore things lol. This must be a western thing.
FFXIV never charged a monthly fee, how did it "go F2P just to survive"? The other part of the interview you left out was that the numbers have been dropping, especially in public places even with incentives to play it there.
People don't leave things alone, rules of the internet. The more you're disappointed or hate something the more you have to troll around the forums of said subject instead of praising the thing you continue to play. If people did that what fun would they have?![]()
