Not the information I was hoping for(need to know what's happening with the battle system), but I appreciate the lore. Fortunately(debatable) I have enough crap to keep me busy until at least next week.
Keep up the hard work, Yoshi and crew.

Well, we learned that we will have to swear fealty to only one of the three companies. I imagine they will be similar to Rank Missions in FFXI, but maybe with a Guildleve component too.
We also learned that the instance will probably be in Black Shroud.
The essence of a troll, my defination of one is.. Arguementive and negative when they don't even like what they are seeing/doing. In the end it boils down to that point, so instead of getting worked up and feeding the fire, I just make fun of trolls so I can laugh and be happy. hehe =)I understand everyone crave for detailed info on the game.
I understand someone love lore and others no.
But seriusly, everytime a lore post happens, this bullshit ? Also, if you hate so much storyes in a game, don't play a FF mmorpg. Go play rift, aion, or wow skipping all text, not a FF game ffs
Ok, I'll make it simple for you....What does that even mean? You said in your previous statement they are so NOT transparent that we have no idea what they are up to now. But here in this quote, you are telling me to inform you of what we didn't already know. HOW can we know anything if we didn't learn it from them? You are entirely self-defeating.
What. Is. A. Grand. Company?
Oh- its that exciting new FFXIV feature that.. well... oh ya... its another carrot!!!
Information is easily translated through websites these days and people have several devices to look up web pages. If SE decided not to put it in game, it's not like people could not find information if they wanted it. I'm not saying I don't want like an ingame newspaper or something, because I do, but you have to be within reason. This is what we have now. Don't be ungrateful. We got information/lore even if it wasn't presented to us in a pretty in-game package.you are looking at it as somone who frequents lodestone. That will not be everyone, even less come ps3. You are also making excuses, cause while its better the lore exist than not at all, it really should be accessible from the game in some form, that would actually add to the gameworld itself, and not just to the people who read lodestone
The Grand Companies of Eorzea are a military alliance of nations united in common cause to avert imminent catastrophe from engulfing the realm, each city-state charged with mustering its resources under the banner of an elite regiment.
Spoken like a true S-E rep.... I'm so proud of you~
Yes thats something I didnt know either, and guess what they tied that in with the lore.. again thats SE approach of "giving Information" just some people dont read between SE lines
Well since you want a serious answer even though you're trolling:
It's the first paragraph if you bothered to read you'll also learn it's related to dungeon content that's coming and even battles against the Garleans. The Grand Companies of Eorzea are a military alliance of nations united in common cause to avert imminent catastrophe from engulfing the realm, each city-state charged with mustering its resources under the banner of an elite regiment. At their commanders' behests, the companies have begun petitioning able men and women to join their ranks regardless of birth and standing. In due time, that selfsame clarion call will sound out to those intrepid individuals known as adventurers.
People who complain always ignore the information laid before them.
