Lets talk about Housing

Uh.. here is a you know what I mean if you know statement.

"I hope the houses look about the right size on the outside that they are from the inside". (just ignore me if you have no idea lol)


Unedited stream of thought of wants XD:
Ponds, gardens (both planted and potted), greenhouses, trees, garage, extensive house modules that change interior and exterior (say placing a patio, shop front, or garage example), extended patio, howels moving castle door (portal to fixed locations ideally to the three cities), crafting centers, personal chests and magitek autosorters, magitek themes in general.. ima hire cid to decorate my house bye bye gil

I'd ultimately like to see an almost if not actual city like creation (not just one house, or even just "houses") but eh.. that'd be something unlikely - only thing that makes me weary of adding too large of housing is that of course you need reason for players doing that. Likely in the way of crafting airships and other big things- would suck to not be able to do that if you didn't have the FC rich enough for the housing size (cant take part in a content because you cant get the money to buy the "Large" house to fit the airship gantry or something). I could imagine a player doing some sort of phased collaboration with NPCs to gain these features in a new city or just through GC.. but meh long ways away if at all.

Inside my house I want the capability to turn it into whatever I desire, whether it be a private family house or perhaps design it like a public tavern. This will all depend on the functionality of decorating however whether it will be as restricted as FF11 who knows or more open like SWG.

...you know.. stuff ;P....city like creation...

It would be great to tailor the neighbourhood as well as the houses themselves. By all means allow individual players free reign over how they decorate their own houses but there needs to be a wider community aspect to all of this otherwise it will be as abstract as mog houses were in FF11. There should be amenities/services in addition to houses to make it a slice of downtown and not just a random boulevard where everyone keeps to themselves and doesn't know their neighbours(!).
