Take it from this Scholar. It's feasible as Scholar. Here's what I suggest doing: Place Eos near the Tank, this way she'll be in range to heal him. Try to stay at a good distance that allows you to heal the tank. Also using Adloquiem can work wonders here, as it can keep the tank from taking poison damage as well as damage from the bosses attacks for a short while. If you have Eye for an Eye,use it on the tank whenever it cools down as that reduced damage is always useful. Lastly, don't forget to use Aetherflow as it restores a significant amount of MP. Move out those poison pools and things should work out. As a note if you're team is getting poisoned a lot cast Adloquiem on them as it pretty much nullifies the poisons for them. It's sad, because if Scholar's got Leeches before 35 then you could be rid of the poison debuff easily

Oh i'd also like to point out that I run it as a blackmage but I started arcanist enough so I could have the psysick heal skill. So when I run out of poison and etc I just insist on dropping my own little heals on myself since I can replenish my mp so that the healer can focus on more important things
Not that such a thing is required , but it certainly made things easier and quicker :P

I recommend you find yourself a kind bard to sing your healers a purty lil song. xD Bards make this dungeon a joke if you know to avoid big green pools that hurt you and heal him.
I've yet to have a problem with running out of MP.

This is my suggestion and what works for me. Have the tank keep the dragon as close to the wall as possible but not facing the wall. Keep its side to the wall. Tank on the boss's face and everyone else stack behind it.

The poison pools are blasted at random party members so if everyone stacks, the dragon only has 2 choices, in front of him or behind him. You won't end up with pools all over the place and you can work your way around the outer edge of the field more safely without trapping yourselves.

That's what kept getting Eos killed for me. Tank would shift so that Eos would be in red cone area and it would be too crazy for me to move her on the fly.

This fight, more than any other up to this point, requires symmetry, particularly between the tank and healer. The SCH when we beat it was not placing Eos. I did notice that. Our setup was WAR, BRD, BLM and SCH. All DD were ranged and we kept along the walls to keep the floor open.

Personally, I never got wiped unless I got hit by the breath.
All other attacks don't do as much damage...

Though this have been said before, I will repeat it now.
Evading the gas graphic of the breath is not going to do anything. you need to get out of the red area before it disappears.

However, please try to not use Duty Finder with a language you don't know, because not everyone understands English.

It's understandable. I can only suggest moving Eos, since the range on Embrace is pretty bad, but you can get close enough so that she can heal the tank as normal. What I did was if the tank moved I'd have her follow after me then move her back to the tank after a few seconds

Sure. I have both at level, and run with a family member with both tanks at level. So we're just doing this now. First run I went on my WHM as I had read about all the poison. I did have a Bard from FC (yes it helped). We wiped couple of times as we figured out the poison regen and cast animations. But I think 3rd try was no problem, plenty of time left on clock .. he was on WAR. WHM was 35 by end of run.

So next time I decide to try it on SCH, which was only 32 as well. He was still on the WAR. Clean run, no deaths at all, no Esuna. Though the FC Monk kept telling me in voice "I have poison" - after missing puddles. I kept replying "I know". LOL And explained. Tank was tired, new dps was learning poison animations ... was not flawless execution but we lived and dropped final boss on first try. I was surprised actually! So we ran it a couple more times, pugging dps with me on SCH and he alternating WAR & PLD. No deaths on those runs either, every single one on SCH. This includes final boss on first try even with dps from duty finder (and to be fair they were good, even the one that had not done it before).

    - I lost more people when I was learning the dungeon (on WHM) than on SCH.
    - since I have WHM & SCH, my SCH has Stoneskin .. this seemed to help, as I kept it precast.
    - I have Swiftcast, was only a minor help
    - move, move, move ... you have to keep that fairy out of puddles as well, I do not place it on this boss
    - tank and I have good gear for level, if something doesn't drop, I craft a HQ item for the slot
    - tank does use the move along wall tactic

So you probably should level WHM .. at least get stoneskin. Farm Haukke Manor or craft HQ items to get something L28+ and HQ or dungeon in most slots. Then do it on your SCH. I was quite surprised the SCH did that well with no Esuna. I wonder if I can convince them to let me try w/no Stoneskin to see how much of a factor it really was ...

Hi, I am the tank that ran with Hechicera. I was 34 Warrior on our first run and some of my items were/are still iLvl 29-32. Subsequent runs were at 35 with a couple item drops from Brayflox. I actually really liked being healed by the SCH more than the WHM because of the anti-spiking from the SCH's absorption buffs. The final boss felt smoother on SCH, but that could have been from previous experience. I too am curious to see how things go without Stoneskin, though I think my sister just wants to kill me >.< (HALP!)

Your mention of difficulty at the end may be due to the knockback that starts at 25%. Heals may be getting interrupted and/or others get knocked into the poison.

EDIT: Also there is a split second to avoid the poison when the boss turns and looks. One of our dps managed to avoid all poisons. I'm still trying to see if as tank I can do the same, but each time, the poison seems to follow me regardless and I end up having to walk the boss across the pool (which is NOT good).

EDIT2: One more thing about the end of the fight, be very careful the tank is not moving out of range of heals. With the number of pools that can be up at that point and everyone running frantically, it is very easy to be too far to be healed. This happened to me a couple times, but since Hechi and I use voice chat, I would pop a potion as soon as she notified me.

My group had no issues with this one...have you tried taking a BARD? I think you are either letting the boss heal which will totally screw you up or you are not doing enough damage...hence take a BARD with you.
Our party was Warrior, Black Mage, BARD & White Mage and we rocked it first try and no issues.
